Arleth had quite a few friends online. She never saw them in person. They just would chat and a few times they saw each other through Skype. They had a group chat on Telegram where they were learning Spanish. They enjoyed each other's company and there was nothing strange about it at all.

But one day, when they had a group discussion and everyone participated and sent out voice messages, her friend Flora sounded odd. It was like she was not the same person. Arleth got worried and called Flora's room-mate Josephine. She told her that Flora has been missing for a few days.

Then, who was that person whose voice message was sent to the group chat. Arleth had a lot of questions in her mind about this situation. Josephine sounded a lot like the voice sent out to the group chat, but Arleth was not sure about it. She compared their voices and informed the police about her discovery.

After a few weeks of no new news of Flora, they found her body under a bridge, stabbed to death. The investigation started for her murder and beside her real life friends, Arleth and group members were questioned as well.

It turned out that her room-mate Josephine did kill her out of jealously because they liked the same boy, and she was the one at group chat that day. She was trying to be “Her” according to her. The police recognized her voice thanks to Arleth. Josephine was arrested and put into jail.

Sort:

Situations like Flora's are terrifying, just imagining being killed by her roommate is already something out of the ordinary and abominable.
