This is my post for #freewriters 2634 prompt a new arrangement hosted by @mariannewest

Yesterday my husband came into the house and leaned against the wall, he took a deep breath and said I have something wrong with me. I could feel my heart beat faster.

He said he was across the road tying some old irrigation hoses to his truck so he could pull them out of weeds that had grown over them.

He said that is when it happened, little dots of moisture started forming on his forehead, and before he knew it his entire shirt was soaked. He was sweating.

I did not see the humor that he thought I would see. I thought he had something bad going on. It was in no way funny to me.

It also started yesterday, I could feel it in the air. We have a new arrangement in our weather pattern. Northerners would call it Spring and anymore everyone here does, but growing up here we only had two seasons, Summer and Winter. You knew when one ended and the other started, we would call this summer. I am not sure how they determine when Spring ends and Summer starts, they might have a set date and not go by how it feels.

I have the spring cleaning urge and want to cut my plants back, but too many times we have had a freeze in February. I used to say it was our coldest month, but is it still? It has been a few years since we had a freeze in February. This entire winter our area has not had a freeze. (I should not have said that, can I take it back?)

I have been worried about how yellow the pineapples were looking.
I have been doing my best to keep my pineapple plants away from the irrigation sprinklers because the soil in their pots is staying too wet and I have been afraid it will rot their roots.

I pulled on one and found out the roots are rotted. Now I am biting my nails as to what to do. I have no choice but repot the 5 I found but should I go ahead and repot them all?

If I went with my gut, I would repot all of them. I always tell myself to trust my gut, should I this time, if I repot them and we get a freeze, it could be bad. If I leave them and it rots their rots, it will be bad, which is worse?
