This is my short story fiction based on the freewrite writing prompt.
Alex and Marco were told to extract two scientist out of the building where they were studying a disease which was making dead people come alive. Turns out those dead people drank blood in order to survive. The chance of vampire disease was very slim as it was specific to movies but turns out alex was wrong.

They picked the back door of the building. There were less infected there and they easily got rid of those to move next level. And turns out one scientist was attacked before they could reach the team. And now marco extracted only one scientist alive. They wanted to keep both alive as they were required for the research and safety of the antidote.
"Alex, this whole area is infected and we have limited ammo. This place is not so secure".
