Hello, everyone, and today I want to tell you a little bit about my time and job management system and how I at least try to do things and jobs on time.

So if you are my follower and follow my posts you already know that I live in the countryside and work on a farm. As a result, there are many different jobs on the farm and at home, depending on the season. And there isn't even much time left for things like a rest. I have some friends in the city and sometimes they ask me: You have so much work how do you manage to do all things? When do you rest? If you rest at all from jobs? And yes I rest at least sometimes from all jobs but that is a different topic so I write about that in another post coming soon.

And now let's get back to the story of how I manage to do all jobs in time. These words are written in bold for only one reason I don't want to teach anyone what and how should be done right it is different for each person. And things work differently for others. In this post, I only want to share how I do my daily jobs and I hope maybe something from this post will be useful for you.

Also for people who live in the city, this situation is a little bit easier if they have a one job with certain working hours and with certain holidays. In my situation on the farm, we don't have certain working hours and holidays sometimes I work at day and sometimes at night sometimes a holiday is a Sunday and sometimes we can't do anything in the fields due to rain so we get a holiday for example on Tuesday. The situation is different every day and working hours are different every day. That is why using the time and job management system is so important to me.

So let's start every day I write a to-do list for the next couple of days. And it doesn't matter if it's a job that takes hours or something small that I can do in 2 minutes. Because it is nice that after each job you can mark another job as done in your list of jobs. More small jobs more marked jobs as done. And that motivates me to try to do another job on my list. Also, it doesn't matter if I can do all the jobs in one day from my to-do list or if I continue to do some of them on the next day's to-do list is only for complete job checkmarks. I can look at my completed work every day ending and be happy about how much I was done on that day.

Secondly, I try to always have scheduled work depending on the weather. And I always have things to do both in the sun and things to do in the rain. For example, if the outside is raining I have a couple of jobs to do in the garage and when stops raining I can go outside and do outside work. So there is no situation when I completed garage jobs on a good day and when it's raining outside I don't have what to do. Of course this way I can't do one particular job to the end. I have started several jobs at the same time but at least something is happening ahead of nothing. And this is a thing that is also different for different people some people like to do one job to the end and only then start to do the next job. But I'm used to the fact that the jobs are going slower, but it doesn't stop just because the weather is bad.

Another interesting thing that I like to do is take every minute to my advantage. For example TV commercials. Who likes them when they start showing in the middle of your favorite series or movie? So I use them to my advantage. As I before said there are also some small 2-5 minutes jobs on my to-do list and TV commercials in Latvia are showing about 6-8 minutes every time so in that time I can do one small job. Or another example is when I'm at work on the farm we have lunch and several coffee breaks in that time I can write a post for my blog here. Basically, as I said before use every free minute to my advantage.

I think for now that's all but how do you manage your time and jobs? I will be happy to see your comments!
