After the death of King Oduduma, the throne remained vacant for several months as everyone eagerly awaited the return of the heir to the throne, who had traveled abroad, to take his rightful place.
On a fateful day, a young, handsome man walked into the palace, claiming to be the son of the late king. The elders were surprised and asked, "But you have changed greatly!" However, the young man managed to deceive them by presenting false documents bearing the name of the rightful heir to the throne. With no way to verify the truth, the elders had no choice but to fix a date for the coronation.
The grand event was set for the great Nkanda market day, a significant occasion in the village. The entire palace was beautifully decorated with traditional ornaments, and men, women, and children gathered in excitement, dancing joyfully to the rhythm of the drums. As the atmosphere grew livelier, the powerful Nkanda Village drum echoed, marking the moment the new king sat on the throne and was officially crowned.
A year later, a car drove into the palace, and a tall young man stepped out, bearing a striking resemblance to the late King Oduduma. Everyone was shocked. The palace guards stared in disbelief, their mouths agape. The young man introduced himself, and after verifying his identity, the people were convinced, he was indeed the rightful heir to the throne.
Suddenly, the false king attempted to flee, but he was swiftly caught and apprehended. The crowd erupted in chants of "Imposter! Imposter! Imposter!" The deception had been exposed. The impostor was handed over to law enforcement, and shortly after, the rightful heir was crowned king, restoring order and justice to the land.
