Normalmente, cuando uno es adolescente, y obtiene su primer trabajo, uno se siente muy alegre cuando cobra su primer sueldo. De hecho, antes de cobrar uno piensa en cómo va a gastar el dinero, en qué lo va a invertir, en cómo va a comprar aquello que quiere, o cómo va a empezar a reunir para comprar los que necesita. Y cuando llega el día, y uno recibe el sueldo, normalmente uno siente una emoción y una satisfacción muy grande. Ya que es la primera vez que cobra un sueldo.
Otra cosa que pasa, es que uno, al cobrar la primera vez, se siente grande, siente que por primera vez puede comprar y adquirir bienes y servicios sin depender de otros. Y esa realidad se hace patente, ya que normalmente, cuando tiene su primer trabajo es adolescente, aún vive en la casa de sus padres. Y la realidad, se hace presente, cuando uno llega del trabajo con su primer sueldo a la casa, soñando con lo que va a hacer, con el dinero ganado con su propio esfuerzo, y nuestros padres nos llaman, nos sientan en la mesa, nos hablan de la responsabilidad y del apoyo familiar.
Y después de tan hermoso discurso, donde uno siente que ya lo están tratando como adulto, nuestros padres nos informan que, a partir de ese momento, debemos hacernos cargos de algunos de los pagos fijos de la casa. Ya que debemos comprender, que todo en la vida se logra con trabajo y sacrificios, y debemos entender que el vivir en una casa y el tener responsabilidades, no es cosa fácil.
Entonces, a partir de ese momento, ya sabemos que tenemos un trabajo, un sueldo y responsabilidades. Y eso hace, que ahora nazca en nosotros la necesidad de ahorrar para poder alcanzar las metas que deseamos. Así que ahora, al salir del trabajo a la hora de almorzar, en vez de ir al restaurante de la esquina, buscamos un lugar donde vendan comida más económica, y ahí, descubrimos los puestos de comida rápida.
Así que variamos la comida en los días de la semana, pero disfrutamos mucho, cuando comemos la comida rápida, por el sabor de las salsas y lo económica que es, y a diferencia del restaurante, le podemos decir a la persona que nos despacha el alimento: “Por favor, sírveme otro, y comemos a gusto, sin salirnos de nuestro presupuesto". Y así, con ese proceso, aprendemos a trabajar, a ahorrar, a tener responsabilidades, y nos vamos preparando, estando aún bajo el cobijo de nuestros padres, para poder hacer nuestra propia familia más adelante.

And when the day comes, and one receives the salary, one usually feels a very great emotion and satisfaction. This is the first time he has received a salary.
Another thing that happens is that when you get paid for the first time, you feel great, you feel that for the first time you can buy and acquire goods and services without depending on others. And that reality becomes clear, since normally, when he has his first job he is a teenager, he still lives in his parents' house. And the reality, becomes present, when one arrives home from work with his first salary, dreaming of what he is going to do, with the money earned with his own effort, and our parents call us, sit us at the table, tell us about responsibility and family support.

So we vary the food on the days of the week, but we really enjoy, when we eat fast food, because of the flavor of the sauces and how economical it is, and unlike the restaurant, we can say to the person who dispatches the food to us: “Please, serve me another one, and we eat at ease, without going out of our budget." And so, with this process, we learn to work, to save, to have responsibilities, and we are preparing, while still under the shelter of our parents, to be able to make our own family later.
