Pront: "No es asunto suyo"
Marina estaba en su casa, realizando una comida para unos amigos de su esposo que vendrían a comer con él, después de terminar el juego de pelota. Y cuando estaba en plena faena, sazonando el pollo y picando los ingredientes de la ensalada, sonó el timbre del apartamento.
Marina le gritó a Susana, su hija, que abriera la puerta, pero Susana estaba jugando con su prima y una vecina en la computadora, y tenían el volumen tan alto, que se le hacía imposible escuchar a su mamá. Cuando el timbre sonó de nuevo, Marina gritó con fuerza, que debían esperar a que ella llegara a la puerta.
Al abrir la puerta, Marina se encontró con la cara alegre de su suegra, que venía a visitarla con una amiga. Después de los saludos y la presentación de la amiga de la suegra. Marina le comentó que debía dejarlas, ya que estaba cocinando para Ramón y sus amigos.
La suegra de Mariana le preguntó, por cortesía, si quería o necesitaba ayuda. A lo que Mariana contestó que no. Cuando la suegra de Mariana estaba en la sala atendiendo a su amiga, ella le comentó que a Mariana no le gustaba que la molestaran cuando estaba cocinando y que ella prefería respetarle sus espacios, lo que había logrado que hasta ahora se llevaran muy bien.
La suegra de Marina, le pidió a su amiga que la esperara un momento, ya que iba a saludar a su nieta. Y en el momento en que la suegra fue a visitar a su nieta, la otra señora se metió en la cocina. Y cuando entró, le ofreció ayuda a Marina, quien se negó a recibirla, pero toleró a la señora con mucha educación.
De un momento a otro, la señora, empezó a decirle a Marina, que ella debía picar de otra forma los adornos de la ensalada y empezó a preguntarle sobre la sazón del pollo. Marina, le dio a entender que quería espacio en su cocina, pero la visita impuesta se ponía cada vez más necia.
Cuando la señora siguió molestando a Marina, preguntándole sobre cómo estaba cocinando, Marina la miró con cara de pocas amigas y le dijo que, por favor, se sentara en la sala. Sin embargo, la señora siguió molestándola y preguntando, hasta que llegó un momento en que Marina, dejó el cuchillo sobre la tabla de corte, miró a la señora que vino de visita con su suegra y le dijo: “Lo que yo haga o deje de hacer no es asunto suyo, ahora váyase de mi cocina”.
Cuando la suegra de Marina salió del cuarto, encontró a su amiga, molesta e indignada en la sala, y cuándo le preguntó qué le pasaba, y ella le comentó lo que sucedió. La suegra le dijo: “Te lo dije cuando llegué y no respetaste sus espacios. Espero que ahora aprendas a respetar los espacios y las reglas de cada casa”.

Marina was at home, making a meal for some friends of her husband who would come to eat with him, after finishing the ball game. And when I was in the middle of work, seasoning the chicken and chopping the salad ingredients, the apartment doorbell rang.
Marina shouted to Susana, her daughter, to open the door, but Susana was playing with her cousin and a neighbor on the computer, and they had the volume so high, it was impossible for her to hear her mom. When the doorbell rang again, Marina shouted loudly, that they should wait for her to get to the door.
When Marina opened the door, she found the cheerful face of her mother-in-law, who was coming to visit her with a friend. After the greetings and the introduction of the mother-in-law's friend. Marina told her that she should leave them, since she was cooking for Ramón and his friends.
Mariana's mother-in-law asked her, out of courtesy, if she wanted or needed help. To which Mariana replied no. When Mariana's mother-in-law was in the living room attending to her friend, she told her that Mariana did not like to be disturbed when she was cooking and that she preferred to respect her spaces, which had managed to get along very well so far.
Marina's mother-in-law, asked her friend to wait for her for a moment, as she was going to greet her granddaughter. And the moment the mother-in-law went to visit her granddaughter, the other lady got into the kitchen. And when he entered, he offered help to Marina, who refused to receive it, but tolerated the lady very politely.
From one moment to the next, the lady started telling Marina that she should chop the salad trimmings in a different way and started asking her about the seasoning of the chicken. Marina, gave him to understand that she wanted space in her kitchen, but the imposed visit was getting more and more foolish.
When the lady continued to bother Marina, asking her about how she was cooking, Marina looked at her with a face of few friends and told her to please sit in the living room. However, the lady kept bothering her and asking, until a moment came when Marina, left the knife on the cutting board, looked at the lady who came to visit with her mother-in-law and said: “What I do or don't do is none of your business, now get out of my kitchen.”
When Marina's mother-in-law left the room, she found her friend, upset and indignant in the living room, and when he asked her what was wrong, and she told him what happened. The mother-in-law told her: “I told you when I arrived and you did not respect her spaces. I hope that now you will learn to respect the spaces and the rules of each house”"
