"Emily, can you please come and lend me a hand on the kitchen!" Mrs Domble shouted across the room. Mark and his family were coming over for dinner and she had a lot to cook. The news had reached her a bit late. Her husband Kirk had called two hours after she left the house to get food for Jinny, their pet cat. She had immediately branched to the grocery store to get some items she will be needing for the feast. Once she got to the house, she found the door opened which means Emily was back but for over an hour and a half she had been in the house, she had not seen Emily or even noticed her movements around the house.
"Or was she the one who left the door open while hurrying out?" She thought.
"No, I locked the door and took the keys" she thought aloud.
She walked up the stairs leading to Emily's room. Sure enough, she was in, her mum saw her slippers by the door which means she had stepped out of her room sometime today on returning. She knocked on the door but got no reply. She knocked again, louder this time but still got no reply. She turned the knob gently and walked in.
Sure enough, there was Emily sitting in an awkward position. Leg streched open sideways and hands clasped in front of her chest and eyes closed. She seems not to be breathing and oblivous of what was going on around her.
'What cheek! So she still goes on with these yoga stretches!" Her mother mutterred under her breath.
