Roaring Winds Before the Storm. A poem of the sea.

in #hive-1611558 months ago

In days of yore when ships set sail,
On seas unknown, in vintage gale.
The tempest rose with furious might,
A dance of waves, a thunderous night.

The sea, a beast with frothy mane,
A tempest's grip, a wild disdain.
Its roaring voice, a primal call,
As crashing waves against ships sprawl.

A canvas sky, where lightning weaves,
The tempest's tale, where danger cleaves.
The wind, a maestro with fierce intent,
Conducting chaos, a storm's descent.

Sails strained against the tempest's breath,
A dance with fate, a dance with death.
Timber creaks 'neath Neptune's frown,
As sailors fight to hold their ground.

The sea, a mistress, both wild and free,
With tempest's kiss, in vintage spree.
Waves as mountains, rise and fall,
A tumultuous waltz, a maritime brawl.

The ship, a plaything in the sea's cruel hand,
Tossed and turned like grains of sand.
Yet amidst the chaos, a silent awe,
For nature's fury, an ancient law.

Oh, tempest fierce, with thunderous might,
A vintage dance in the moonlit night.
The sea, a stage for nature's show,
Where winds and waves in tumult grow.

In vintage tales, the stormy sea,
A timeless saga of mystery.
Crashing waves and roaring winds,
A symphony where chaos begins.

🐬🐬🐬Donate to the Dolphin Project 🐬🐬🐬https://www.dolphinproject.com/donate/
Dolphin Project is a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to the welfare and protection of dolphins worldwide. Founded by Richard (Ric) O’Barry on Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the organization aims to educate the public about captivity and, where feasible, retire and/or release captive dolphins.
The mission of Dolphin Project is to end dolphin exploitation and slaughter, as dolphins are routinely captured, harassed, slaughtered and sold into captivity around the world – all in the name of profit. Dolphin Project works not only to halt these slaughters, but also to rehabilitate captive dolphins for retirement and/or release, investigate and advocate for economic alternatives to dolphin slaughter, and to put a permanent end to dolphin captivity.

Port Sundries is not affiliated with Dolphin Project but supports their goal 100%.
