One thing I've come to realise about humans is that there are two types of humans. Those who create the mess and the ones who go behind them to clean up the mess. One cannot live without the other, they coexist.
Every problem humans are facing and trying to solve are problems caused by some other human. You see this play out in movies and also in our everyday life. A boy, for instance, who is not grown enough to take care of another life, ends up getting a girl pregnant, leaving his parent and society, in the long run, to deal with the outcome of neglect the child may have faced if not well groomed.
This brings me to my main concern which is the case of negligence of the government of a society towards sickened corruption. Just imagine a generation of politicians who embezzle the resources of its nation, meant for all, for their own selfish needs, not thinking of the long-term issues it will cause the forthcoming generations. Sometimes knowing the outcome of their actions, they tend to embezzle more than what they and their coming generation will ever need in the detriment of the decay of the state.
We all know that for one to be better off, we must have a situation where the other is left worse off, so they create this huge gap in the contest of power and comfort. And by realising what a mess they have created, they build a system to protect themselves, creating laws, rules, and regulations that will only foster their inhumanity, using some ignorant poor populace to protect this system they have built.
Imagine this, a countryman, living in a time, where everything is in decay, knowing fully well the causes of the decay, but yet, you protect this system in the name of a sworn oath or "love of country" some will say. One who loves his country will not see injustice and look the other way in the name of a sworn oath or the fact that he is a benefactor in the injustice or loot, one who loves his country will fight injustice, corrupt and bad governance.
A serious decay like this, calls for a rethink of where we stand. Imagine a case where people are finding it so difficult to survive, and having those who were chosen to serve, wasting resources. It quiet unfortunate, how humans are so self-centred and so greedy that they do anything just to matter or be "at on top"
I was talking with someone about the situation we find ourselves in, about how those who are taxed with the duty to protect us, are the same people against us, fighting us instead of fighting with us, but the reply I got was weakenedme the more, in his words he said, "Who do you think put them in that position?". It means they are all parts amongst their plan. This is how bad our situation is, and I, as a person in my thoughts, haven't seen a feasible way out, atleastnot yet. Some might say, oh, this doesn't concern me, politics and all, even when the price of fuel, for instance, will increase ten folds, I will be still afford it. So, you tell me, where is humanity? Is humanity dead?
These is my reflection highlighting the pressing issues affecting humanity. Observing the dichotomy between those who create problems and those who clean up the mess. This shows the cycle of suffering, injustice, and decay in our society.
What to Notes:
Problem creators and solvers coexist, showing our collective responsibility.
Human actions lead to consequences, affecting individuals, communities, and future generations.
Exploitation and corruption creates inequality, fostering systems that protect the privileged.
Ignoring or enabling harmful systems contributes alot to this effect.
Recognizing the decay and suffering demands collective action and a rethink of our values.
Self-centeredness, greed, and apathy threatens our shared humanity.
Finding solutions requires, awareness and acknowledgment, empathy and compassion, collective action and advocacy, accountability and justice, empowerment through education and critical thinking and compassionate leadership and governance.
