The thoughts, lifestyle and events that surrounded this very man is such that I cannot get off my mind even after my first read of the story a few years ago.
Taking a glance at this picture makes me ponder the more on what kind of a man Noah was and why this event surrounded him as I had read from the bible. Some of the questions that have constantly remained a flood in my thoughts are;
How bad was the world at that time that made God to resort to destruction by flood?
How did Noah manage to become the only man chosen to build the ark?
Where and when did Noah learn and understand the science and tech for building an ark that weighed 1.2million kilograms (using the density of cypress)?
How could one man have the patience to build an ark that is more than half the size of The Titanic for 50 years?
How did Noah manage to get both sexes of every animal on earth to board the ark? Imagine grabbing a king cobra, catching a housefly and a mosquito to both the ark. People must have perceived Noah as a crazy old man.
He took on a task that almost no one would attempt in this time and age especially if you have never seen it rain before.
This very picture raised a fresh question in my mind; why did Noah have to send a bird from the ark to confirm if the flood was over and what confidence did he have in a bird to deliver a perfect message?
