What I See?
A little kid with a crafted airplane on one arm.
What I Feel?
Amazed! A reminder of my younger brother.
STORYLINE
I knew he would complete it, all he needed was a little more focus to gather up the right pieces and make it look as real as possible.
See me talking like I know what exactly the elements used are made of🤦♀️ except the piles of cartons scattered around his room. That's a lesser trouble, knowing my kid brother would do well.
We watched him with the battle of trying to make an airplane feel as realistic as possible. Good thing that it's the holiday already…
Our mom was a little bothered over his refusal to eat or do anything other than complete his aircraft.
Earlier this evening, Ezekiel wasn't in his room but the mess he made helped me trace him down to the garden. My initial anger over his obsession and how badly he turned the house upside down watched away at the sight of his face. My baby brother looked so tired and while he held his crafted plane in one hand, I was certain that was a real solid airplane toy instead of a thing made with cartons. Before I could go further into hugs and kisses, he said “ I tried making her fly”
Oh! Then I remembered why I met him in the garden. His zeal and determination are a total inspiration and before I finished conceiving the thoughts in my head, My baby bro was all wrapped in a tight hug because at that point words would pull me to tears but when I found my composure, I pulled back, and let him know how amazingly great he did, and that brought a little light to his tired looks but still yet, I took out my phone and gave a quick shot, making a silent promise in my heart to gift him for his 18th year birthday as a reminder of how awesome he was and certainly Continue to be.
