This must be a winter time. I've learnt that winter is a cold period, so cold that leaves wilt and drop, leaving trees bare. True to what I've learned, the trees here appear as if dead because their leaves that would have given them the green colour of life are not with them. There's snowfall also due to cold.
And I wonder who these two fellows are blowing their long musical horns for. In the absence of audience, I think they're just entertaining themselves. Or, is it possible that the tree trunks have invisible ears to hear and enjoy the ongoing music? Besides, without any singer in sight, I believe they're playing a classical music.
I've personally not witnessed any winter because I'm in tropical Africa. The only season that tends to mimic the winter in Nigeria is the harmattan. It's a cold, dry and hazy weather. Even at that, I'm in southern Nigeria where the harsh weather of harmattan is not as severe as in the north.
As for winter, I long to feel it one day and touch the snow it brings.
