I see a lady holding a glass of alcoholic drink.
I feel that the lady is passing through a traumatizing situation which caused her inner pain and sorrows so she takes the alcoholic liquor to forget her sorrows.
“John, is this how you could treat me after all these years? After all I have done for you, is this what you think of doing to me?”Jennifer whispered.
Jennifer had been in a relationship with John for more than 5 years. Their relationship started when John was coming from his usual daily football training. John was a footballer. He used to go to the stadium for training every morning and evening. John has been practicing for years but he had no sponsor to send him to the football academy in London.
One day, John was returning from his usual training session and he met a lady helplessly battling with a deflated tyre by the road side. In his usual spirit of kindness, John stopped by and decided to help the lady to change the bad tyre. The lady was very happy and decided to give John a lift. Discussion started from then and Jennifer fell in love with John.
The relationship between John and Jennifer grew bit by bit and Jennifer had the hope that John would eventually become her spouse. Jennifer was financially buoyant. Of course, an accounting officer with the Central Bank was supposed to be rich. Jennifer became a financial support for John. For John, who was just a poor boy in the neighborhood, that was a golden opportunity to grab.
Jennifer discussed the issue of John with her sister. That was good news because Jennifer was already of age without a fiance. Her first relationship ended in an unfortunate way when she discovered that the professor who was dating her had had a wife before. As if that wasn't bad enough, she had another ill experience with Papi.
Papi came along and promised Jennifer heaven and earth. He vowed that Jennifer was the love of his life. But Papi parted ways with Jennifer after sleeping with her. No one could understand what the issue was. Papi simply lost interest in Jennifer.
So, this evening wasn't a good one for Jennifer. She had always been a strong lady. If not for her emotional balance, she would have done something worse to herself. She went to her mini bar and picked a bottle of gin and tried to get herself drunk so that she could forget the unpleasant news from John.
Jennifer had helped to send John to the football academy in London. Few months after John travelled, Jennifer couldn't reach him anymore. His line wasn't available anymore.
So on this particular day, Jennifer checked her email and she saw a mail from John telling her that he wasn't going to continue with the relationship anymore.
