Anna used to be a joyful person, so her friends and family's worries about her sudden shift in demeanor were understandable. She happened upon Tom, a friendly stranger, while strolling around the park one day.

Saying, "Hey, mind if I sit here?" Tom inquired.

A little taken aback, Anna looked up. "Well, no, of course not," the speaker exclaimed.

They began chatting, and before long Anna was telling him everything.

"I've simply been feeling pretty low lately," Anna explained. There's something wrong with me, but I can't put my finger on it.

Tom listened attentively and provided helpful feedback and suggestions. Anna and he hit it off right away, and after exchanging phone numbers decided to split ways.

Anna began anticipating Tom's texts and phone calls as the days progressed.

"Hi, how are things?" Tom sent a text message.

"Hello, Tom, I'm doing better today," Anna said. "Thank you for asking."

Anna was starting to feel like herself again, thanks to Tom's humor and charm. He took her to a nearby art gallery as a complete surprise one day.

Oh, this is incredible, Anna exclaimed as she admired the artwork.

Tom saw her enthralled by a painting of a cheerful sunflower. When asked, "What do you think of this one?"

Anna cracked a grin. "It's fantastic, really. This is a very upbeat and vibrant piece."

Tom gave Anna a tiny box. "This is for you. Please open it."

A necklace made of sunflowers was within. "I thought about you," Tom said. "You remind me of the hopeful sunflower in the artwork."

Anna couldn't even utter a sound. She gave Tom the benefit of her gaze, and he rewarded her with a grin. Anna realized at that same second that she had met her soul mate.

The words "thank you, Tom" sprang from her heart as she felt a pleasant glow. "You are the reason for my happiness."
