They were two cavemen named Grunk and Thrak, and they spent their time spelunking. Eventually, they found a cave that was dark and intriguing inside, with some drawings along the cave's walls.
Grunk: "Whoa! Have a look at these cave drawings, Thrak! They looked really old!"
Thrak: "Well, I don't get it. Why do people waste time drawing on walls instead of just talking?"
Grunk: "Look, Thrak, they're ancient cave drawings! No words are necessary to understand the tales they spin."
Thrak: "Okay, I get it now. Let's take a deeper look!"
Grunk and Thrak stayed in the cave for the rest of the day, looking at the artwork and exploring. Images of a bison, woolly mammoths and saber-toothed tigers, among other gigantic creatures, were displayed for their perusal.
As they prepared to go, Grunk had a brainstorm.
Grunk: "Hello, Thrak! Join me in creating our very own cave drawing!"
Thrak: "I like the idea, Grunk! Can you suggest a drawing for us to do?"
Grunk: "Let's paint ourselves exploring this cave and finding these drawings!"
Thrak: "Ha! Personally, I approve! Yes, let's go ahead and do it!"
Grunk and Thrak finished off the day by adding their own artwork to the walls. They draw a self-portrait with torches, gazing in awe at the artwork.
As they emerged from the cave, Thrak said to Grunk, "So glad we found this cave with the drawings inside, Grunk. It was a blast for me to go on a hunt with you."
Laughing, Grunk said, "That's what I thought, Thrak. Get out there and find some more caves to draw in!"
