Crohn's disease is a rare inflammatory infection that affects the walls of the large intestine. Its characterise by severe gastrointestinal pain, blood in the stool, diarrhoea, fatigue, anemia, etc.
Crohn's disease can degenerate into colon cancer if poorly managed.

There is no actual cure for this sort of infection, however, it can be properly managed with some drugs like corticosteroid (suppository prednisol, preferably for its localise effect ), ciclosporin. Some antibiotics can also be used (co-trimoxazole)and multivitamins to boost the blood level. In severe cases, a surgery could be carried out on the individual.

Crohn's disease might be a chronic disease, but just like other diseases, its not a death. It can be effectively managed till the symptoms subsides, just as shown from the examples of the various people who were diagnosed of the disease but later recovered.
