Waking up another day to see your smile (freewrite)

I know that you're (in) there somewhere, so i keep my search, I keep smiling whenever i am allowed to, raise my chin up and fists up to the sky, wandering and waiting for you to join me, but we all have our own chains in life at some point and i have my own.

Your doubts are my own, will it blend, will it work, will it last forever or will it end right at the start ?

You walked through the rainbows and storms, roads and valleys.
But we can only carry enough food for a while, until the night sets and the fire must be on to get us through.

Presunptions are the easiest to guess, certainties are the hardest to let go.
Asking twice brings triple doubts, I know when confusion is born and silence is the only answer for a society that is broken.

But i see you smiling.

Happiness is something that is created and grown, not infused or shaken, that is enough for me, but they say that the human being is never satisfied, is it the greed that gets to us ? Or is it need ?

I stopped caring about others when no one else seemed to care about their own.
I really stopped caring, but you got me wondering about life and life got me wondering about God.

Then i saw your tears.
But i see you smiling.
Can you fake that ?

I could never let you go down that rabbit hole without a fight.

For me a prayer is like reading and i just happened to open a whole new book in life, and that's where i'm at.

Learning to not judge so quickly and enjoy the little things in life is not an easy task in a society that rewards us constantly for the most trivial things while ignoring basic needs.

Let's go to those unexplored places in our minds, watch the caves and explore the mountains.

I see you smiling and that is enough for me.
Is it greed if i want to cherish happiness with you only ? Maybe.
