Revisando entre las fotos del album familiar seleccione un grupo que me traen excelentes recuerdos del carnaval en mi pais natal Venezuela, donde jugar con agua entre amigos y familiares es una tradición que aún hoy en día en algunas regiones permanece.
Sin embargo, el tiempo y el contexto país, de alguna forma ha mermado en gran parte dicha tradición, permaneciendo las fiestas y desfiles de carrozas típicos en muchas regiones e inclusive reconocidos a nivel nacional.
Particularmente seleccione entre las fotos familiares, el recuerdo de los Carnavales del 2012, cuando mi madre fue electa Reina de Carnaval del Centro de Rehabilitación y Fisioterapia donde ella asistía regularmente.
Fue una fiesta hermosa, emotiva y donde mi madre y sus amigos se divirtieron como nunca, ver hoy en día esta imagen de mi viejita con esa sonrisa enorme me llena de satisfacción y alegria.
Tanto la reina como el Rey Momo, fueron electos por votación entre todos los pacientes del Centro, lo que significaba para ellos un gran reconocimiento dentro del grupo de más de 35 pacientes.

Carnival and Murga: Initiative
Looking through the photos in my family album I selected a group that brings back great memories of carnival in my native Venezuela, where playing with water among friends and family is a tradition that still remains today in some regions.
However, time and the country context, in some way has diminished this tradition, remaining the typical parties and parades of floats in many regions and even nationally recognized.
I particularly select among the family photos, the memory of the Carnival of 2012, when my mother was elected Carnival Queen of the Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centre where she regularly attended.
It was a beautiful, emotional party where my mother and her friends had the time of their lives. To see today this image of my old lady with that huge smile fills me with satisfaction and joy.
Both the queen and the King Momo were elected by vote among all the patients of the Centre, which meant for them a great recognition within the group of more than 35 patients.
Entre los recuerdos que seleccioné fue el primer carnaval en el colegio de mi nieto, cuando participó en un acto disfrazado de campesino, realmente fue muy emotivo para mi hija y para mi verlo en el escenario bailando joropo (baile folklórico de Venezuela).
En la siguiente imagen les muestro a mi unica sobrina Rosmedy vestida con un traje folklórico mexicano, que ella lució en un acto en su colegio en Mexico.
Y por último, la imagen de mi hija cuando apenas tenia 4 años luciendo uno de los disfraces preferido de ella, un traje mexicano que fue elaborado por mi madre y bordado en lentejuelas, la tela fue traída directamente desde Mexico por mi hermana mayor quien vive aun en este país.
Among the memories I selected was the first carnival at my grandson's school, when he participated in an act dressed as a peasant, it was really very emotional for my daughter and me to see him on stage dancing joropo (folkloric dance of Venezuela).
In the next picture I show you my only niece Rosmedy dressed in a Mexican folkloric costume, which she wore in an act in her school in Mexico.
And finally, the image of my daughter when she was only 4 years old wearing one of her favourite costumes, a Mexican costume that was made by my mother and embroidered with sequins, the fabric was brought directly from Mexico by my older sister who still lives in this country.
