In a nameless corner of the world,
where the day begins in whispers,
the shadows lengthen and the wind sings
stories of a dawn yet to come.

Dreams in the dusty streets,
murmur the waves in the distant sea,
tired eyes reflect
the stars that never fade.

Tears fall like rain,
drops from a sky that longs to change,
and the sun, hidden behind mountains,
promises to return, rosy.

Hands that work, resist,
weaving future in every thread,
with hushed voices, they wait
the day when singing will be free.

On nights with a full moon
hopes are drawn in the firmament,
and though the present hurts,
the heart beats with longing.

Freedom rises like the flight
of a bird breaking its cage,
and in every sigh, the strength
of a people that never breaks.

But time, eternal accomplice,
slips its mantle over the valley.
Inertia becomes chains
that give strength to those who govern.
