When it grows you get more
It would show your good works
If you can trust the Mustard Seed
If it's grown in one whole
You can boast and have hope
If you plant the mustard seed
We must prove and not move
Our faith had long failed
Because we lost the mustard seed
It could restore the lost hope
If you look within you
You'll find the mustard seed
It would reign and not end
I can tell within me
Faith is like the mustard seed
This poem likens the mustard seed to a small amount of faith. It's purely inspired by the message of Jesus that says, if our faith could be small as the mustard seed, we would tell the mountain to move, and it would be done. It goes a long way to describe phenomenon that occurs in our life when faith is planted in our hearts. This process according to the poem is believed to be the same as small when a seed is planted in the soil. Though the seed is small as the mustard seed, it would germinate and bear fruit by faith; but without faith, that would not happen.
