Chanting To The Moon

Tonight is half May,

Thin clouds covered the sky and the moon was in the sky.

Clear as rippling light,

The bright circle is particularly bright.

Lying on your back to the moon without sleep,

A cool breeze is hard to find,

The heat is still sweating.

There are thousands of questions in my heart,

Why does my heart keep hurting?

You are stingy without a word!

Is this silence golden?

Just go quietly westward,

Light up my eyes with two lines of tears,

leisurely,

How can you ignore loneliness?

This poem evokes so many memories of moments that I wanted to relive - and yet it felt so distant. It's a distance that is impossible to cover, by whatever means. For me, this was very creatively done and succinctly captures this feeling of lingering in space and longing.
