January and sun... no snow and no winter cold..... This time a short walk near the Mesić monastery (Vršac, Serbia, Vojvodina)
I like to come to this oasis of peace and quiet... The atmosphere is also this beautiful blue sky... You may find it strange that I am delighted with that blueness... but it's really rare that the sky is so blue in our country... Or are they rainy clouds, or various clouds sail across the sky.....
Today is particularly quiet, because after New Year's Eve, people are tired and a minority just walk around.
That's where I saw Snowdrop for the first time... They say they are the first harbingers of spring... These flowers are really early, and the warm weather is to blame for that......
Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis), when I was a child, I was so excited that this flower could bloom under the snow... I had never met it in forests and fields until recently. Only in some places and in some yard...
There is a legend about Visibaba. Odysseus and his crew came to the island of the sorceress Circe. She hosted them but due to the misbehavior of the crew, she turned them into pigs....
Odysseus wanted to keep and make him forget everything..... Then the god Hermes intervened and gave Odysseus a small plant with white flowers, Molly.... It was found to be visibaba. (galantamine the medicinal substance of snowdrop, uses in Alzheimer's patients.)
love flowers and these Snowdrop enchanted me.. I photographed them several times....
There is also ornamental cabbage, which is a winter plant.. The leaves are actually flowers...
To correct myself, cabbage leaves look like flowers.... Different colors..... Here they fit nicely with Snowdrop.
I sat for a while and enjoyed the sun... And I moved on.😊
Thank you very much for visiting my blog ❤️🌸
Have a nice evening ✨
