Sunday is the day when I like not to be at home. This time I came to the city of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The city is best known for Baščaršija. The name of the street is derived from the Turkish word baş, which means main bazaar. It was created in the 15th century when Isa-beg-Isaković founded the city.
The city is full of tourists... Everywhere is buzzing with people, some in a hurry, some slowly looking around... My walk was easy and spontaneous... I had no plan other than to visit the streets of this old town... Which I can say sometimes was the core of various craftsmen.
These streets still have the spirit of the past...
The crowd of people carries you and carries you to different direction...
The wide street is crossed by shorter winding streets...
They are also known for their cakes, so I tried the Italian Crempita..
And now I present to you their famous products..
