A few years back when Reliance Jio was introduced in the market, they came with a big bang saying that they could give unlimited calls to all the users. This was one of the biggest selling points for them to get a big recognition in the market. They were the first ones to challenge the other networks and after Jio made things free, the other networks also followed the same and were able to do the same thing. This way many networks were able to prevent people from going to Jio from their network.
I'm telling the above story because for us to get started with a technology initiative, someone should lead the road. Necessity is the mother of invention. When one person finds a necessity and can provide a competitive product in the market, other people would like to do the same thing in the market too. After Open AI came up with chat GPT, there are other competitive products in the market. There are also people building apps on top of Chat GPT. One such alternative is the META AI and I find it handy to ask questions to that AI and get the answers.
Today we have a huge dependency on technology and Google search has always been an inevitable thing in our day to day lives. When we need an answer for something we immediately reach out to Google search and get our answers. Today in many companies people are doing their job with the help of Google search and Stackoverflow only. This is a fact. I believe in the future same can happen. We will create a huge dependency on AI and start using that for everything. There are already algorithms available that can integrate with hardware devices and be smart enough compared to humans.
Meta AI is a feature that is available in the WhatsApp application and that is where I came to know about this. Sometimes if I need any answers for a programming logic, I reach out to chat GPT but I have to log in to the application and make use of it. Meta AI has now become my go-to place because it is available in WhatsApp and it is more like interacting or talking with someone in WhatsApp. Another big advantage of Meta AI is that we are used to the interface of WhatsApp and that again is not going to be a difficult one.
To be very honest I have not compared Open AI with Meta AI and I'm not even sure if Meta AI is also using the same underlying technology in the background. But from a normal user perspective, I find this very attractive because it is sometimes hard to log in and interact with Chat GPT but Meta is very handy right now, and hope both give the same set of answers. I will try to do more reading on that part. I cannot imagine how the future would be with these advancements. In the years to come, the technology will get more advanced with all the AI and ML stuff.
