SpaceX has updated the world map which shows where Starlink is already available or when it is expected to be available.

Starlink 4-15

SpaceX is launching 53 additional Satellites for their own Starlink Constellation.

It is the sixteenth batch of satellites for the 4th layer of the constellation. Shell 4 is in a 540km circular low-Earth orbit. These satellites are equiped with laser links.

The booster is a Block 5 and will land on a drone ship in the Bahamas. This is done in the hopes for calmer seas than in the North Atlantic. For the first time, a brand new booster will be used for a Starlink deployment.

The mission to low earth orbit will launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.

Weather is 70% go according to the 45th Weather Squadron.

  • Payload mass is approximately 16 tonnes
