Wolfs are bad ass! I think we can all agree on that. And if you don't, you can go fuck yourself :)
But do you know what is even cooler? The Vancouver Island wolf! This is a subspecies of wolf that I only heard about today and it fucking blew my mind.
This subspecies of wolf found in the coast of the Pacific Northwest is just built different as it has adapted to a semiaquatic lifestyle with a diet that is almost entirely marine based.

They feed on all kinds of marine stuff, like salmon, barnacles, clams, mussels, and crabs. Not even otters and seals are safe from them! They also scavenge and have been recorded eating all kinds of carcasses, even whales!
Interestingly, when eating salmon they only go for the brain, possibly to avoid a bacterial infection known as "salmon poisoning" which often is fatal to canids.
But the wow factor doesn't end here. These fuckers can swim up to 12 from landmass to landmass, so not even island life is safe from them when they get hungry!
As for terrestrial animals like deer, they occasionally snack on them too. Nothing is safe from their bite :)
So yeah, bad ass!
And I just found Netflix has a documentary on them, guess what I will be watching today night :)
