¡Hola querida comunidad de Hive! 🤗💖 estamos acá reportándonos de nuevo. Hoy queremos compartirles nuestra salida de hace 2 semanas. Se preguntarán que porque tan tarde, y es que hemos tenido varias cosas que hacer y por eos no tuvimos mucho tiempo para escribir y editar el blog hasta ahora 😁, bueno pues esta fue una de las más locas, ya que además de que recorrimos una parte de la ciudad que no solemos visitar, pudimos ver de inicio a fin una ¡tremenda lluvia de granizo! La cual incluso paralizo la ciudad y su trafico durante varías horas, pero ya les contaremos más adelante como estuvo. 😮
Hello dear Hive community! 🤗💖 we are here reporting again. Today we want to share with you our departure 2 weeks ago. You may wonder why so late, and is that we have had several things to do and that's why we didn't have much time to write and edit the blog until now 😁, well this was one of the craziest, because in addition to that we toured a part of the city that we don't usually visit, we could see from start to finish a tremendous hail rain! Which even paralyzed the city and its traffic for several hours, but we will tell you later how it was. 😮
Bueno, nuestra aventura de hoy comenzó en dos de las alcaldías más emblemáticas de la CDMX, Coyoacán y la Benito Juárez ☺️💓, ya que nos quedaba cerca de nuestro destino principal. Llegamos aquí en la gran “limusina anaranjada” y nos bajamos en la estación con el mismo nombre que nuestro destino, Viveros. Como quizá recordarán, está estación tiene una icónica decoración natural, en donde se pueden apreciar paisajes verdes, con un montón de animales e información de ellos y sus hábitats. 😮💓
Well, our adventure today started in two of the most emblematic mayorships of the CDMX, Coyoacán and Benito Juárez ☺️💓, since it was close to our main destination. We arrived here in the big "orange limousine" and got off at the station with the same name as our destination, Viveros. As you may remember, this station has an iconic natural decoration, where you can appreciate green landscapes, with a lot of animals and information about them and their habitats. 😮
Para comenzar visitamos a los hermosos viveros de Coyoacán, los cuales son unos de los puntos verdes más grandes de la zona, y en los que como su nombre sugiere, se pueden conseguir varías plantas, ya sean frutales o solo de ornato, seguro encontrarás alguna planta que se ajuste a ti. 😊🌱💓
To start we visited the beautiful nurseries of Coyoacán, which are one of the largest green spots in the area, and where as the name suggests, you can get various plants, whether fruit or just ornamental, you will surely find a plant that suits you. 😊🌱💓
Este “parque” es enorme, cuenta con un pequeño cuerpo de agua que parece ser un rio (aunque por desgracia está contaminado), y muchísima extensión verde, que ofrece un muy agradable clima fresco para las altas temperaturas de la ciudad en verano, así como una muy buena pista para correr o trotar. Nosotras apenas pudimos recorrer un poco de este hermoso lugar, y como llegamos un poco fatigados decidimos descansar un poco en una banca con una hermosa vista. 😊💑
This "park" is huge, has a small body of water that seems to be a river (although unfortunately it is polluted), and a lot of green area, which offers a very pleasant cool climate for the high temperatures of the city in summer, as well as a very good track for jogging or running. We barely got to walk around a bit of this beautiful place, and as we arrived a bit fatigued we decided to rest a bit on a bench with a beautiful view. 😊💑
Lamentablemente cerraron los viveros muy temprano 🙁, alrededor de las 4:30 p.m. 😣, pero igual era buena hora para comenzar nuestro viaje a la comida juntos de la salida 😄, para ello nos dirigimos a una de las calles más curiosas y misteriosas que hemos visto en nuestras vidas, se llamaba Minerva, y recorría desde los Viveros hasta la avenida Insurgentes. Nos pareció muy peculiar, ya que además de sus preciosas casas con una decoración muy… “pudiente”, llama mucho la atención que, en sus casi dos kilómetros de extensión, no hay ningún comercio o parecido 😯, solo casas y un jardín de niños que nos encontramos. Nunca habíamos visto nada así en nuestras vidas. Aquí pueden ver unas imágenes de como se veía esta interesante calle.
Unfortunately the nurseries closed very early 🙁, around 4:30 p.m. 😣, but it was still a good time to start our trip to the food together 😄, for this we headed to one of the most curious and mysterious streets we have seen in our lives, it was called Minerva, and it went from the nurseries to Insurgentes Avenue. We found it very peculiar, since in addition to its beautiful houses with a very... "well-to-do" decoration, it is very striking that, in its almost two kilometers of extension, there is no commerce or similar 😯, only houses and a kindergarten that we found. We had never seen anything like this in our lives. Here you can see some images of what this interesting street looked like.
Ya que, además de su peculiar distribución, se puede encontrar el centro libanes de la CDMX, un edificio muy imponente. Lo que sugiere que la mayoría de las personas que residen aquí tienen alguna afiliación con Líbano, (y que además son muy pudientes 🤭💲).
Since, in addition to its peculiar distribution, you can find the Lebanese center of the CDMX, a very imposing building. Which suggests that most of the people residing here have some affiliation with Lebanon, (and that they are also very wealthy 🤭💲).
Después de una larga caminata, y con el cielo que pasó de un día radiante y soleado a uno nublado y estruendoso, amenazando con otra gran lluvia que llegan como consecuencia de los huracanes que asechan a las costas de México, finalmente nos acercábamos a nuestro destino. ☺️💓 En nuestro viaje nos encontramos con este increíble edificio, que parecía no seguir las leyes de la física, por sus angulosas paredes y finos vértices, parece ser un centro comercial de mucho prestigio. 😮🏦
After a long walk, and with the sky changing from a radiant and sunny day to a cloudy and thundering one, threatening another big rain that come as a consequence of the hurricanes that stalk the coasts of Mexico, we were finally approaching our destination. ☺️💓 On our journey we came across this incredible building, which seemed not to follow the laws of physics, because of its angular walls and thin vertices, it seems to be a very prestigious shopping mall. 😮🏦
Llegamos finalmente a donde comeríamos. El edifico se llamaba “Centro Armand”, y era de lo más misterioso. 😮💓, ya que, a diferencia de los centros comerciales convencionales, este no tenía distribución abierta para sus comercios y locales, si no que parecía más un edifico de departamentos adaptados… Esperamos que podamos entender con estas fotos que tomamos.
We finally arrived at the place where we would eat. The building was called "Armand Center", and it was most mysterious. 😮💓, since, unlike conventional shopping centers, this one had no open layout for its stores and premises, but looked more like an adapted apartment building... We hope we can understand with these pictures we took.
Después de asombrarnos con este mágico edificio, caminamos hacía nuestro destino, un buffet de sushi y comida japonesa, china y hasta alitas que se oía muy bien, su nombre es “Groshi Express” y tenía una decoración muy apegada a la comida que ofrece. Al llegar nos recibieron quienes parecen ser los dueños o gerentes, un par de hombres muy carismáticos y amables, que nos dieron una mesa enseguida que llegamos, a lado de una de las paredes del lugar que es todo ventana, y de ahí pudimos ver en primer plano el espectáculo de granizo que se avecinaría. 😮
After being amazed by this magical building, we walked towards our destination, a buffet of sushi and Japanese, Chinese and even wings that sounded very good, its name is "Groshi Express" and it had a decoration very close to the food it offers. Upon arrival we were greeted by those who seem to be the owners or managers, a couple of very charismatic and friendly men, who gave us a table right away that we arrived, next to one of the walls of the place that is all window, and from there we could see in the foreground the hail show that would be coming. 😮
En general se puede decir que la comida era muy rica aunque eso sí, muy grasosa jaja a @panconcajeta le dieron agruras horas después por tanta grasa. Había una variedad interesante de rollos muy ricos aunque unos eran picantes, también ofrecían cosas empanizadas como quesos, plátanos, verduras y rollos de surimi, además de alitas y gyosas de queso, todo muy rico. La realidad es que @panconcajeta se llenó bien rápido y terminó de comer antes que @fclore22.
In general the food was very tasty, although it was very greasy haha @panconcajeta got heartburn hours later because of so much fat. There was an interesting variety of very tasty rolls although some were spicy, they also offered breaded things like cheese, bananas, vegetables and surimi rolls, plus wings and cheese gyosas, all very tasty. The reality is that @panconcajeta got full very quickly and finished eating before @fclore22.
Mientras estábamos comiendo empezó el granizo del que les hablamos hace poco. Fue una de las granizadas más fuertes que he visto en los últimos años, y fue tan fuerte que paralizó la ciudad y a raíz de la granizada en una parte de la ciudad se desplomó el techo de un centro comercial dejando algunos heridos. A pesar de todo las calles se veían hermosas pintadas de blanco, parecía como si hubiera nevado.
While we were having lunch, the hailstorm that we told you about recently started. It was one of the strongest hailstorms I have seen in recent years, and it was so strong that it paralyzed the city and as a result of the hailstorm in one part of the city the roof of a shopping center collapsed leaving some people injured. In spite of everything the streets looked beautiful painted white, it seemed as if it had snowed.
Después de terminar de comer dimos un paseo por el edificio que albergaba el restaurante. Para quien no sepa los dos tenemos una obsesión con los backrooms, así que cualquier lugar solitario que nos los recuerde los fotografiamos como dentro del edificio.
After we finished eating we took a walk around the building that housed the restaurant. For those who don't know we both have an obsession with backrooms, so any lonely place that reminds us of them we photograph them as inside the building.
Al terminar de explorar el edificio salimos a la calle y hacía un frio bastante fuerte, se sentía como si estuvieras en un congelador por el hielo sobre las avenidas. Todo ese frío nos hizo querer refugiarnos y buscamos algún café cercano para poder calentarnos. Estuvimos caminando y vimos a muchas personas divirtiéndose con el hielo y varios aprovecharon para hacer muñecos de nieve y aventarse bolas de granizo. Era realmente un paisaje muy extraño porque estamos a mitad de verano pero a la vez muy mágico.
We went out to the street after lunch and it was quite cold, it felt like you were in a freezer because of the ice on the avenues. All that cold made us want to take shelter and we looked for a nearby cafe to warm up. We were walking around and saw many people having fun with the ice and several took the opportunity to make snowmen and throw hail balls at each other. It was really a very strange landscape because we are in the middle of summer but at the same time very magical.
Por fin llegamos al café pese a que nos perdimos un poco y dimos una gran vuelta pero valió la pena seguir viendo el paisaje, nos sentamos y pedimos un chocolate caliente y un café. Aprovechamos para charlar un rato y relajarnos después de tanto caminar.
We finally arrived at the café even though we got a little lost and took a long walk but it was worth it to continue seeing the scenery, we sat down and ordered a hot chocolate and a coffee. We took the opportunity to chat for a while and relax after so much walking.

Terminamos y por fin regresamos a casa, estábamos un poco preocupados por el transporte que se paralizó debido a la granizada, pero afortunadamente ya habían pasado varias horas y todo estaba más tranquilo así que llegamos rápido a nuestras casas. Bueno eso fue todo por hoy, esperamos traerles más blogs interesantes de nuestras salidas en pareja más adelante, hasta un próximo blog.
We finished and finally returned home, we were a little worried about the transport that was paralyzed due to the hailstorm, but fortunately several hours had already passed and everything was calmer so we arrived quickly to our homes.
