Hello to all Hiver friends! Its nice to be back here sharing my travel memories and experience. I have thought that I cannot be able to write my travel posts, and thanks to @detlev and to @ybanezkim26. Now I am confident back to do my travels because of this community where I can share the beauty of our beloved and beautiful country of the Philippines.
What I am going to share with you guys is very adventurous and risky yet happy when I reach our destination. It feels like we are already in the deepest part of the earth because we need to walk down into the deep part of the mountains. This is my very first adventure in my entire life.
We went to the Majestic Kilawaan River at Sitio Abyawan Dalirig Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. The place is not yet crowded because of the difficulties to reach the river walking in the sides of the mountain down to the river, and we need to walk for an hour and a half from the highway, and in just one mistake, if you are not very careful of your foot steps, you can fall down in the side of the mountain because, as you can see in the picture.

We took a motorcycle to get to Kilawaan River. We just looked for the Dalirig Elementary School, and beside the school is the road to reach the Kilawaan River. It took one hour for us to reach the destination of the river because it was a rough road. We reached the destination, yet still we needed to walk for an hour going to the river, and there were two native kids who became our tourist guides to get to the river.
This is my very first adventure in my entire life. I cannot believe that I was able to make it in spite of the risk. First, I did not know that the road is tough and dangerous going down to the Kilawaan River. All that I have in mind is the happiness that I will experience when I reach the river. I got slid and fell in the rock, and I'm still lucky that I did not suffer many injuries and didn’t feel any pain.
So I stood up and continued to walk toward our destination, and I cannot wait to see that majestic river that is close to me now. We have two native kids that became our tour guide because we do not know the exact location of the river since it was our first time to visit here. I am amazed with the nature that is so green and the experience of walking down from the top of the mountain going down to see the river that seems under the crust of the land.
The moment of truth is now here! We finally arrive, and I’ve got to see with my eyes, and it looks so magical. The river water looks so crystal clear like a mirror that I can see the stones under the water. I cannot wait to swim, but before I am going to swim, I did enjoy watching first the green nature under the mountains beside the river.
The weather is good and not sunny, which I enjoy most. I enjoy taking pictures around. I felt tired, so I lay down for a while under the cave and bedside the tree. The place is so relaxing that it is good to stay here for long hours and have some camping, but we do not plan for camping. I can no longer wait to jump into the water. The water is cold, and I'm enjoying it a lot jumping into the water.
I am so amazed when we arrive into the river. Everything is worth it, and there are only four people in the river, so it's not crowded, and we had fun all day. The water is cold and crustal clear with the big stones in the side. It seems that the water flows in big, divided, wide stones, as I've noticed. It looks like we are in the deepest part of the earth because we were all covered with a deep forest and deep mountains.
My friend told me about the Kilawaan River, and I get intrigued to travel and visit the place also, but they didn't tell me about the risk of getting into the place. It's okay; it was a surprise that makes me more adventurous. Since I am getting active and posting travel posts, I became a fan of traveling, and I will be doing more travels in different parts of the Philippines, but as of now I will be traveling more here in my nearby places, such as Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Mindanao.
