I have never been a traveler, and it is not my passion to travel. This community unlocked my introverted personality, and I've discovered a lot. Not only that, but I've unlocked the other side of myself as a nature lover and traveler by seeing the world's great wonders.
I know I'll have more places to go and enjoy what I'm doing more. My life and perspective have changed since I became active in the @pinmapple community, from being a self-pity person and a loner. Now everything turns into positivity, and every time I travel, I can't describe the kind of happiness I feel after 30 years. It's only now that I realize the benefits of being a traveler.
Today I'd like to invite you to join me on another adventure to Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. Traveling to this location has always been a dream of mine. I used to think that it would be just a dream because it is too expensive to travel and I don't have my own vehicle to travel in, plus I am always occupied with work on a daily basis. I have no other activities other than working online and caring for my children, and I forget to value myself.
Welcome to''Dahilayan Adventure Park," one of the famous tourist adventure parks in Mindanao, Philippines. I owe this travel to #pinmapple because my dream travel destination came true, as well as my daughter's first time to travel. I hire a motorcycle to bring us to Dahilayan Adventure Park and pay 500 pesos, which is about 10 HBD, and it's all worth it because it's affordable rather than paying 250 pesos per head by Van. What I like riding a motorcycle is that that I would have the opportunity to visit some beautiful nature parks to view the scenery and take some photos.
We began traveling around 8 a.m. on a beautiful sunny day, and we arrived in Bukidnon around 11 a.m. We passed by numerous nature gardens and plantations, including the Banana and Pineapple plantations that I have previously mentioned.
How to get to Dahilayan Adventure Park?
Dahilayan Adventure Park is located in Barangay Dahilayan Brgy, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. To travel to the named tourist spot destination, simply take a van ride from Limketkai Mall in Cagayan De Oro City. If you are traveling from Manila or anywhere else in the Philippines, you can take a Magnum van to Limketkai Center, where there is a van that will take you from Limketkai Mall to Dahilayan Adventure Park, and you can relax while in the van.
I am overwhelmed with excitement when we arrive at Dahilayan Adventure Park of course the first thing that I did is to take a picture of our arrival at our destination with the Dahilyan signage the we buy some entrance tickets that costs only 100 pesos or 2 HBD. I have thought that the ticket was too expensive but figured out that it was too affordable and worthy with all the pleasure roaming around the adventure park.
What rides do they have?
The view inside the park is extremely amazing, and the weather is cold, it feels like I am in New Zealand. There are too many pine trees around, plus the extraordinary rides that adds excitement with the tourists that visit, and that is why it is called an adventure park. There are adventure rides that you can try, or if you are adventure, you can go with the rides such as Zip lines, Lower Zip lines where kids can also try, Drop Zone that I took a picture of that seems almost close to the sky ,kiddy rides and many more rides to explore around.
My daughter is very pleased with the kiddie rides. I'm not sure what kind of rides those are, but as long as she's happy, I'll go for it. Did you know it only costs 50 pesos for those kiddie rides? She roams around the park with the ride while I wait for her to finish.
Are You Ready for the Big Surprise?*
I assumed it was only about adventure and forest parks. But there's more, like vintage car and Beetle collections, as well as an old American-style restaurant in the heart of Dahilayan. Wow, I feel like I've been transported back to the 1960s! I am astounded by what I have seen because I never expected it. I thought they only had nature and rides.
If you are planning your next trip, don't forget to visit Dahilayan Adventure Park. Many foreigners visit the park, including Chinese, Koreans, Americans, and Filipinos. Thank you for joining me on my travel journey, Hiver friends!
