in #hive-1637724 days ago

Assalam o alaikum and hello to my #worldmappin community Today i am going to share with you a memorable visit to Badshahi Mosque.A few days ago, I and my family planned to visit the Badshahi Mosque. The Badshahi Mosque is located in the city Lahore, Pakistan and this mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world, while it is the third largest mosque in Pakistan. This mosque was built during the Mughal era and was constructed by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir in 1671 to 1673.

The courtyard of Badshahi Mosque is very large and more than one lakh worshipers can offer prayers at the same time.

This mosque is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Red stone and marble are used in its construction. It has three domes and the middle dome is larger than the other two domes. It has eight minarets, four of which are large and four are small.

The Badshahi Mosque is adjacent to the Shahi Qila, in front of which there is a Huzuri garden, which enhances the beauty of the mosque.

After the end of the Mughal rule, various changes were made to this mosque during the Sikh and British rule, but the original Mughal architecture remains intact. It has been renovated from time to time and the buildings within the mosque are also used for various purposes.
The minarets of the mosque and especially the entrance of the mosque makes it more beautiful and reflects the best architecture of the Mughal era.

Every day thousands of people come here to visit the mosque and offer prayers in the mosque. This mosque is a historic mosque and a heritage of Pakistan.
I have visited this masjid many times but I like to visit it again and again because it is an important place for Muslims and the heart is satisfied here. I went to Badshahi Masjid with my family a few days ago and I saw that there were more people there than usual.

I was accompanied by my two younger brothers and my two sons who came to visit Badshahi Mosque for the first time. I told my brothers that if they remember the pictures of Badshahi Mosque in books during school time, this is the great Badshahi Mosque.

There was a lot of rush at the entrance of the mosque, which is on the side of Huzuri Bagh, and people were standing on the steps built in front of this beautiful and historic door and taking pictures. Also, there were many people sitting at the entrance who were guarding the shoes and in return they were charging Rs.40 to 50 per pair of shoes.Because the mosque is a holy place and the house of Allah, one can enter it without shoes.

We also took off our shoes and entered inside the mosque and first of all we performed ablution and moved towards the inner side of the entrance, a man was standing and calling out to visit the holy objects attributed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Time is very short, the door will be closed soon, we also quickly climbed the small and narrow stairs to reach the building where people lined up to visit the holy objects.

When I saw the sacred pilgrimages, my heart felt very peaceful and my soul was satisfied. That I have seen these sacred objects many times before.Where the blessed hair of Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the blessed letters on the stick and the blessed soles and the footprints on the stone were also included. There were also the Kaaba covers and objects attributed to Hazrat Imam Ali and Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). It was heartwarming to see them.
Apart from this, we visited the objects attributed to Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Fatimat al-Zahra and Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, and while visiting these holy objects, I kept praying to Allah for myself, parents and for my family.
After that, we also visited the copy of the Holy Quran written in silver, moreover saw the name of Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which was written in gold, and i felt very happy.
There were not allowed to take pictures of the sacred items. Therefore,i cannot took the pictures.
I saw that there were many men, women and children in the courtyard of the mosque who were taking pictures with mobile phones. They came from different parts of Pakistan and there were also some foreigners there. I offered Asr prayer in the mosque and took some pictures.

We visited the Badshahi Mosque and enjoyed it very much. I also took some pictures of its internal structure.

If any of you intend to visit Lahore, you must visit the Badshahi Mosque. It is an iconic place in Pakistan. It will be a lot of fun.
