Assalam o alaikum and hello to my #worldmappin community. How are you friends! I hope everyone is well and I am also well. Today I am going to share with you the experience of visiting Minar e Pakistan.Minar Pakistan is located in the city of Lahore and it holds great importance in the history of Pakistan.

Minar e Pakistan a national monument in Lahore, Pakistan was constructed in 1960 to 1968.It was built to commemorate the Lahore resolution which was passed on 23rd March 1940.The purpose of this resolution was creation of separate Homeland for muslims of the subcontinent.

The design of Minar e Pakistan built by Naseer ud din Murat Khan who was a Pakistani architect and built by Abdul Rahman Khan Niazi.Minar e Pakistan has 62 meters hieght and monument has the modern and Mughal architecture. It is constructed with concrete, stone, steel and marble.

The floor of Minar e Pakistan is like a flower and it has four platforms. Its columns are built from the bottom to the top and a dome is built on the top which adds beauty in it. In addition, there are stairs built inside it and tourists can go up through the elevator. But now it is closed to the general public because many people fell and died while climbing the top of Minar Pakistan.

Minar e Pakistan was built to pay homage to the martyrs and the sacrifices of the people involved in the movement of those who got a separate homeland.
Every year on March 23, people gather here and the memory of the Pakistan Movement is refreshed, moreover, martyrs are paid tribute who have sacrificed their lives while getting Pakistan.

A few days ago I planned to visit Minar e Pakistan with my family and we got ready in the morning and left home to visit Minar e Pakistan. I was accompanied by my two younger brothers and my both sons. I had visited Minar e Pakistan many times before but this time my experience was very different and I enjoyed it a lot.

When we reached Minar e Pakistan, we saw that many people were visiting there and the weather was very lovely. The sun was shining and there was a cool breeze which made the weather more beautiful and attractive.

My two brothers who came here for the first time along with me were very happy. We took some pictures as soon as we reached there and saw that many people were taking photographs.

We visited the entire park of Minar Pakistan. This park is also called Greater Iqbal Park, which is estimated to be spread over 329 acres. An artificial lake has also been built in this park, which is at a some distance from Minar Pakistan. Tourists can sit in a boat and take a tour of the beautiful lake. Unfortunately, there was no boat in the lake on the day we visited.

Every day thousands of tourists come from remote areas of Pakistan to visit Minar Pakistan and many foreign tourists also visit here. I saw that many people were sitting in groups and enjoying picnic parties. Many families were engaged in sightseeing and entertainment with their children.

There were several paintings on a wall. I See the beautiful paintings. In these paintings, the painting of Honorable Mr. Quaid-e-Azam, who is the founder of Pakistan, was prominent, while with him there were many other important personalities who played an important role in the Pakistan movement these paintings were paying tribute to the memory of their immense services for Pakistan.

I saw there that many people and young children were selling food and drinks like samosas, juice, ice cream and kulfies etc. My both sons purchased the kulfies and had a lot of fun.

When I moved a little further, I saw that on another wall there were very beautiful paintings, which were done with great skill. It showed how the Muslims continued the political struggle as well as the war to get Pakistan and sacrificed their lives to get this Pakistan.

In this Greater Iqbal Park, many beautiful plants were planted these plants added more beauty to the park and pictures of great personalities in different parts of the park were skillfully decorated on the pillared minarets.I took the pictures of the paintings like Quid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinah who is the founder of Pakistan and Our National Poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal. These paintings were looking very beautiful.

After walking around the entire park of Minar e Pakistan, we attended the shrine of Hafeez Jalandhri in the premises of Greater Iqbal Park and recited the Fatiha. Hafeez Jalandhri is a great poet and he also created the national anthem of Pakistan.I saw the National Anthem of Pakistan written on the entrance to the shrine and pray for his forgiveness for this great poet.

We spent the whole day visiting Minar Pakistan and also did photography. It was a lot of fun to visit Minar e Pakistan.

If anyone comes to Lahore, I would suggest him to visit Minar Pakistan because it is a historical, very charming and lovely place. You will definitely enjoy to come here. Thanks for reading my post.
