International Trade Fair
Hello everyone, today I am going to talk about the special event which occurs every year in my country Bangladesh. Which is known as “Banijjo Mela” it means “international trade fair”. I have been going to this fair for a long time. This time it was still available in the month of February. This fair does not last long and it is very enjoyable when you go there with your family.
Each time I go there I get mesmerised by what I see. There are different stalls different people from different places. I think in Dhaka the biggest fair is held. The area I went to is very huge and it was unexpected that I would see this much gathering even though I was very late it was almost the end of the fair. I felt like I should share this view with you all also.
The view is huge from here when I was outside the fair area I could see some stalls are on the outside too. All food stalls are on the outside and it must not be allowed in the fair area because it would cost a lot to stand a stall on the inside. So, I must eat whatever I want before I get in. Of course, there will be restaurants inside but it’s gonna be expensive for sure. I came here through BRTC Bus and it did not cost that much to reach my destination if I took an Uber then it would cost a lot than what I am gonna spend on here.
When I reached there at first I wanted have some food then I decided to drink some special tea and I saw this stall and it has what I am looking for which is called “Tandoori Chai”.
This tea is specially poured into the tea and the cup is made of mud. I loved the look and smell of the tea I just could not control myself when I got my cup. I have also burnt my tongue because I tried to drink it as soon as I got hold of it.
This is the final view of the tea as you can see this is looking very tasty. By seeing the picture I feel mouth watering myself.
I am still outside and you can see on the road it’s not clean at all people have made a mess of it by throwing everything on the road instead of a dustbin.
People are selling clothes over here at a fixed price which might sound cheap but it’s not.
These are some dishes which my mom would love to but if she was here with me I am sure she would definitely love them.
And those are small house architectures and it’s my first time seeing those little houses. As I have never bought them.
Some kids toy over here, I think nowadays kids don’t play with those anymore. They prefer mobile to use not the toys anymore.
I don’t know what these are called maybe baskets or something. They looked good for a well being decoration at house. Then I saw the banner on the right it says the ticket counter is on the right. So, I will be going forward to purchase the ticket to enter the fair. As the Sun was setting so I had to hurry up.
Tickets are 50 taka for each person which I think it’s cheap enough and not that much costly.
I had to stand in the line because if I don’t then I will never get the entry.
On the left you can see the big board stand written Trade Fair.
Just look how many people are here and the area is very big than what I had expected.
Once I entered I didn’t feel like going back home again. Because I could not take my eyes from this view.
Then I saw cars for sell I guess, I don’t know why it’s displayed over here. I didn’t like the car maybe because I have different kind of taste.
This is not the end I have seen many more places in this fair I would love to share it with you all in my next post as I could not complete it in one.
