Hello hivians, hope you're feeling blessed and your family alive and doing well. Today I want to share with you one of the most beautiful places I've visited in a little distant town in the land of Umunachi. Umunnachi is a town in Dunukofia, Anambra State, Southeastern Nigeria. A gradually developing area with lots of open land for agricultural purposes for example grazing.
It is a place I consider to be rich in palm trees and other palm kernel products because of the versatility of palm trees in the region. They also have a good landform that is always quite amazing to see. While on the road getting to the Umunachi mountain, you can easily catch a glimpse of the mountain though there are many obstacles that may hinder your view of the mountain and this includes tall storey buildings that were erected very close to the road. With this there is no where you can be able to get a clearer picture of how high the mountain really is except one decides to enter into the jungle which is off the road from the back of the mountain.

The mountain is a holy place where believers in Christ gather to pray. When I got to the top of the mountain I had the most amazing view. I was able to see far beyond places where there are no roads and legs can hardly reach. The view from top of the mountain is really different because you feel elevated and on top of the world. One of my beautiful observations was that I noticed all the tall palm trees that were towering above me earlier when I was climbing, gradually began to decent. They all kept on descending till I got to a point when I was looking on top of each and every palm tree in the region and I continued climbing until they all appeared like ants before my eyes. At this point I felt good within my spirit.

The atmosphere around the mountain is quite different from other places around the region. During the hot sun it is really very hot because of not many shades though with a few trees on top and at night it is cold because I spent the night. The view from the mountain at night is quite unique as all around the mountain will be looking as though there are stars surrounding it. Those appearing like stars below are the different lights radiating from far and near from the different houses below the mountain. Most of the images I took was not from the peak of the mountain but from some meters below the highest point of the mountain because there were many trees that can hinder getting a good shot of what the world around looks like from the highest point.

The trees with their powerful looking roots somehow made some part of the mountain around them to be leveled up and I was able to lie down on a bench under a tree.

Among other trees on top of the mountain, there is a beautiful giant tree whose leaves are looking so fresh and green as though well watered but I know there is harmattan in the region and many trees had shed their leaves to conserve water but this one is different and stood tall. There were also many other smaller trees which includes cashew trees.

On the top of the big tree I saw two squirrels that were chasing each other and on the lower trunk of the tree very close to its visible big roots I saw a small opening as though the tree had intentionally had the opening to house the two squirrels.

I later returned very early in the morning and took some beautiful pictures of the world below with dew or early morning fog covering the whole place. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by and see you on my next travel experience post.
