This is so cool!

Good evening and morning, amazing people!

So, I've basically been a very sick all day today, thanks to this crazy weather and my restless energy. I finally mustered up the strength to grab my bedtime medications and figured I'd jot down some thoughts before going to sleep. The humidity during the day is just unbearable, and those evening thunderstorms? They're like Mother Nature's way of throwing a party. Yesterday morning, I went on a cleaning spree because it sparks joy in me. But it turns out I may have overdone it and ended up feeling like a wet noodle after a quick shower. Come night time, I was hit with chills and shivers that stuck around until this afternoon. Feeling totally unproductive, I knew I had to prioritize some serious rest and relaxation. Thankfully, the chills have bid me adieu, but now I'm stuck with a bit of back pain and some pesky stomach woes. I'm dreaming of being on a mountain right now, breathing in that fresh air. Once I'm back in action, I'm thinking a chill getaway with my daughter sounds like just the ticket.

Remembering the epic road trip my husband and I took to the Utah desert has me all nostalgic. Those memories were pure magic! I've written tons of travel blogs about our adventures, but well, I've still got a stash of photos I haven't shared yet. So buckle up, 'cause we're going on a virtual tour together once again. Let's dive in!

Our road trip from Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon, Moab, and Deadhorsepoint offered a diverse and scenic journey through the American Southwest. Here are some of the highlights and attractions along our way.

First stop: Bryce Canyon
We were early, the sun shining early in the morning, and the excitement levels through the roof. As soon as we set foot in Bryce Canyon, bam, we're hit with those funky hoodoos and nature's quirky rock formations that look like they're straight out of a fantasy flick. It's like a rock sculpture exhibition, but way cooler. But you know what blew my mind? The crazy-cool contrast between the lush green trees and the rugged mountains. It's a sight for sore eyes and a feast of colors that made my heart do a happy dance. Just standing there, taking it all in, felt like a moment frozen in time. As we walked along the trails, every twist and turn revealed a new surprise and a fresh perspective on this natural wonderland. Something I don't see every day. It was just a quick stopover, and after that, we headed to Dead Horse Point.

2nd stop: Dead Horse Point
Bryce Canyon and Dead Horse Point are both pretty awesome spots to check out, but they've got their own vibe going on. Bryce Canyon is all about those funky hoodoos—tall, thin rock spires that look like something out of a fairy tale. The colors there are insane, like a real-life painting with reds, oranges, and whites all mixed in. Plus, you can catch some killer views from the scenic overlooks and hike around to get up close and personal with the rock formations. Now, Dead Horse Point is a whole different scene. It's literally a deep canyon carved by the Colorado River, with these bright blue potash ponds adding a pop of color to the landscape. You can see the river winding its way through the canyon, and the rock formations there are just something else. It's more about the dramatic overlooks and the rugged beauty of the terrain.

Let me tell you about the highlight of my Dead Horse Point experience. It's like stepping into another dimension of awesomeness! The view there? Mind-blowing doesn't even begin to cover it. I was literally speechless the first time I laid eyes on it. It's like the landscape was handcrafted by some master artist, with the Colorado River carving its way through the canyon like a work of art. I could have plopped down on a rock and just soaked it all in for hours on end, no joke. It's the kind of place that makes you feel small in the best possible way, like you're part of something way bigger than yourself. If you ever need a reminder of how epic nature can be, Dead Horse Point is the spot to be. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Lastly, let me paint you a picture of the epicness that went down between our adventures from that road trip. I'm talking about a whirlwind of awesomeness, from the lush green trees swaying in the breeze to the jaw-dropping landscapes that had us feeling like we were in a movie. And don't even get me started on those rocky mountains; they were like something out of a postcard, all rugged and majestic. Seriously, there wasn't a dull moment in sight. Every turn, every pit stop, and every scenic overlook were like a little slice of paradise. It was one of those trips where every second felt like pure gold, and we soaked up every single moment like it was the last. Trust me, every second was worth it, and then some. Both places are stunning in their own way, so if you're ever in Utah, you've got to swing by and see them for yourself!

Can we hit the road again soon? See you on our next travels, my friends. Time for me to go back to bed. I'll get back to you soon!
