Olympia Park in Munich, Germany - (ENG/GER)

What would a visit to Munich be without stopping by BMW? The tower is very visible from various locations. The BMW Welt and the BMW Museum are connected by a bridge, allowing you to quickly see both the new and the old.

These are called the "4 Cylinders." I took the picture with my iPhone and Apple Watch. In my opinion, one of the coolest features - the iPhone's image is transmitted to the Apple Watch, allowing you to align perfectly.

The BMW grounds are directly next to the Olympic Park. So, if you're looking for a relaxing walk or jog, this is the right place. I took a photo of the Olympic Park map. (While passing by, a front shot would have been better :D) From the park, you can see the 4 Cylinders from almost every angle - BMW is omnipresent. Additionally, new models like the i4 are displayed in glass cases around the area.

The European Championship and the associated "Public Viewing" (which means something entirely different in English than we use it in Germany) are a great combination with the Olympic Park. However, I didn't go into the fan zone. It rained heavily that day and only stopped around 8 PM - so I used the time differently. There are a few places to eat in the park itself. I suspect they didn't open because of the rain.

Note the prices. €4.25 for 0.5 liters of WATER. But at least a Coke or a Sprite costs only €4.75 for 0.5 liters. What a bargain. I'm curious about the beer prices at Oktoberfest. Back then, the price of a beer stein was a good indicator of inflation. But now, even the Big Mac Index isn't useful as an indicator - oh well.

All in all, it was a super interesting trip. Next time, I'll try to see much more of the Olympic Park - hopefully with good weather!

Was ein Schnäppchen.

So cool I didn't visit this place when I went in Munich such a shame.

After a Trip is before a trip :D There is always a second chance :)

That is pretty cool! I've never been to Munich. Those prices are out of control though... ouch. Going to BMW is a must, you got some nice pictures. Too bad they don't give you a free BMW just for visiting!
!LOL

It's definitly a beautfiul city, but expensive as f***. I never visited it before on my own. But in the last couple of month I had to make some businesstrips to munich. Finally had the time to walk around a bit.
Would be nice to get one for sure. I like the older versions of BMW more - got one myself from the late 2000s :)

Da will ich zumindest nochmal hoch.

Amazing post dude 👍 Loved the place.
