Sunset at Foz do Porto 🌅

in #hive-163772last year

Welcome to my blog ⛵️
My name is Cláudia and I am passionate about photography. I am lucky that Portugal is my home.
I live in a city that gives its name to my country, Porto.
One of my passions is capturing moments with my camera. I have training in the same area and my day to day life is doing clicks around the city.
Today I will share with you the beauty of Foz do Douro as well as my personal experience with landscapes.
Come with me on this trip, I hope you like it.

My first capture was really challenging, the camera in question is the (NikonD5600 with 50/140 mm lens). as in addition to being located in an inlet of the sea, preventing waves from causing accidents, it also allows good circulation between river and sea.
Its red dome and 12 meters make it an imposing building built in the 19th century.
In addition to its function as a navigability guide, it is also elegant in contrast to the stunning coastal landscape, popular with those watching the sunset, thus attracting many photographers like me on sunny days.
In the image captured by my camera it is still possible to see many people enjoying the sunset

As the sun sets, it is possible to see artisanal fishermen with their respective fishing rods heading towards the breakwater.

At the very bottom you can still see a small boat leaving the river towards the sea, the landscape is undoubtedly stunning.
It makes you want to stay there drinking a juice and see this true dream of nature.
In Portugal this year is a little atypical as in other years it has rained and been cold, however these days have been quite hot and we have also seen temperatures around 25 degrees and no rain.
And today my day was no different, you don't know how much it is, well you know how to leave work and enjoy this clean and beautiful climate

The sky is an ever-changing spectacle, the sky takes on shades of pink and gold reflected in the few waves that collide with the breakwater.
This is the place where the man-made breakwater joins the immensity of the Onceano becoming immersed in the landscape.
Fishermen cast their rods in hopes of bringing home some fish. and where other people gather to enjoy and take refuge in the serenity of the place.

The plane leaves trails of pink and the seagulls like dots in the sky transmit calm and harmony throughout the place.
The arm of the sea, always highlighted by the small waves of the sea, finally begins to wake up and flash intermittently with its green and red lights signaling the beginning of the night.

In the background, fishermen with their fishing rods in a small boat under the sea create a clean and relaxing environment.

Hello, @clauphoto! This is @anggreklestari from @OCD team. We saw that you already posted your first post here in Hive Blockchain! Congratulations and welcome! However, it would be awesome if you do an introduction post. As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can tag me @anggreklestari on your intro post then if you have done with it.

Well, you can explore the communities that are suitable for your content. You can read some of the communities in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program

The important thing is Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog. You can't include content that you don't own without sources. For more information, check this post: Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise.

If you have questions, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions. For now, @lovesniper will follow you and we are looking forward to your intro post!

Hi @clauphoto,
Great to see you using the #travelfeed tag! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 5 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.

TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps, automated adding to Pinmapple and more. We also offer many of the features you love on Peakd such as drafts and post scheduling. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!

Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.

We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)
