Greetings hivebloggers, I hope you are all very well, I give you a new trip to the beautiful Gran Sabana accompanied by good friends with good vibes and desire to enjoy and have a great time. With all that enthusiasm we arrived at night outside Puerto Ordaz to rest in an open space. The truth was I was tired and I didn't want to put up a tent but preferred to sleep inside the car.
Saludos hiveblogueros espero que todos esten muy bien, Les entrego un nuevo viaje para la hermosa Gran Sabana acompañado de buenos amigos con buena vibra y ganas de disfrutar y pasarla muy bien. Con todo ese entusiasmo llegamos en la noche a las afuera de Puerto Ordaz para descansar en un espacio abierto. La verdad estaba cansado y no quise armar carpa sino que preferí dormir dentro del carro.
In the morning one of the members went to Ciudad Bolívar to resolve some personal matters and we continued towards the Gran Sabana with the intention of meeting up at night in Santa Elena de Uairén, the last town in Venezuela on the border with Brazil. Arriving at the great savannah, always beautiful, full of that particular energy that sensitive souls feel and I believe is what makes us return again and again as long as God gives us health.
En la mañana uno de los integrantes se dirigió hacia Ciudad Bolívar a resolver unos asuntos personales y nosotros seguimos rumbo a la Gran Sabana con la intención de encontrarnos en la noche en Santa Elena de Uairén último pueblo de Venezuela frontera con Brasil. Al llegar a la gran sabana siempre hermosa llena de esa energía particular que las almas sensibles sienten y creo es la que hace que volvamos una y otra vez mientras dios nos de salud.
The strength of the different rivers emanates a desire to live, a desire to leave everything and build a longhouse in some distant place to be one with nature, with the pacha mama. Upon reaching Manakachi, the river jumped between the rocks with joy and enthusiasm without even realizing that we were in a time of drought, it just ran happy, fresh, free for the enjoyment of the different tourists who were in it.
La fuerza de los distintos ríos, emanan ganas de vivir, ganas de dejarlo todo y armar una maloca en algún lugar distante para ser uno con la naturaleza, con la pacha mama. Al llegar a Manakachi el rio saltaba entre las rocas con alegría y entusiasmo sin percatase siguiera que estábamos en tiempo de sequía, el solo corría alegre, fresco, libre para el disfrute de los distintos turistas que en él se encontraban.
We continue our march towards the unforgettable Sakaika, a magical place that I love, among other things, because it is rarely visited since the trail has some small difficulties, not suitable for short cars. This time, taking advantage of the drought, I walked upstream, enchanting myself with some places that I had not seen the other times I had visited this place.
Seguimos nuestra marcha hacia la inolvidable Sakaika lugar mágico que me encanta entre otras cosas porque es poco visitado ya que la trochita tiene algunas pequeñas dificultades no apta para carros bajitos. En esta oportunidad aprovechando la sequía camine rio arriba encantándome con algunos lugares que no había observado las otras veces que había visitado este lugar.
As we approached the edge of the sakaika in the distance the river seemed to lose itself in the abyss of the green sea of the savannah. But in these lands the river that modifies everything makes its way through the savannah, splitting it in two and losing itself in its immensity.
Al acercanos al borde del sakaika en la distancia el río parecía perderse en el abismo del verde mar de la sabana. Pero en estas tierras el rio que todo lo modifica se abre paso en la sabana abriéndola en dos y se pierde en la inmensidad de la misma.
At night and after communicating with our colleague, he told us that the car had an accident and he could not continue the trip but that they were very well and would return slowly to Cumaná. With him were some provisions and part of the gasoline he needed to reach a distant waterfall for the time being we headed to the Maurak camp to spend the night.
Ya de noche y luego de comunicarnos con nuestro compañero nos manifestó que el carro se le accidento y no puede continuar el viaje pero que ellos estaban muy bien y retornarían lentamente hasta Cumaná. Con el quedaron algunas provisiones y parte de la gasolina que necesitaba para llegar a un distante salto por lo pronto nos dirigimos al campamento Maurak a pernoctar.
In the morning we decided to jump K to see how far we got. We stock up on gasoline and head for the seita river. The morning was resplendent when we reached the river we began the ascent of our first ascent. When we crossed the seita we would enter the green sea, moving away more than 100 kilometers from the asphalt road -
En la mañana decidimos darle para el salto K haber hasta donde llegábamos. Surtimos gasolina y rumbo para el rio seita. La mañana estaba resplandeciente al llegar al rio iniciamos el ascenso de nuestra primera subida .al cruzar el seita etariamos entrando en el mar verde, alejandonos mas de 100 kilometros de la carretera de asfalto -
From now on we would be ascending through beautiful splendid hills, with spectacular views, the indescribable sensation of being one with the green immensity overwhelms the heart.
En lo sucesivo estaríamos ascendiendo por hermosas lomas esplendidas, con vistas espectaculares, la sensación indescriptible de ser uno con la inmensidad verde sobrecoge el corazón.
We made good progress almost halfway but the lack of gasoline and navigation problems made us take the sad decision to abort since we ran a great risk of running out of fuel. Gone is this first attempt to go to this beautiful jump, hopefully I can complete it one day. I hope you like the post and may peace be with you.
Avanzamos bastante casi hasta la mitad pero la falta de gasolina y problemas de navegacion nos hicieron tomar la triste desicion de abortar ya que corriamos un gran riesgo de quedarnos sin combustible. Atrás quedo este primer intento de ir a este bellísimo salto ojala lo pueda completar algún día. Espero les guste el post y que la paz los acompañe.
