Few days back I have travelled from India to Taipei (TAIWAN) and when I reached Taipei, the next day I was very excited to visit the famous memorial hall of Taipei which was (NATIONAL CHIANG-KAI SHEK MEMORIAL HALL).
So, Today I am going to share some information and pictures of the (NATIONAL CHIANG-KAI SHEK MEMORIAL HALL) this place is located in Taipei.
The memorial hall is white and it has four sides, the colour of the roof of this memorial hall is blue and its octagonal in shape which indicates or symbolise the number eight.
There are two steps of white stairs, each has 89 steps which indicates the CHIANG’s age at the time of his death it leads to main entrance of the hall.
The ground level of the memorial hall has a library and a museum Situated there which is documenting CHIANG’s kai-shek career and life With the history of Taiwan.
The front gate of the memorial hall has 6 pillars. The groundbreaking for the memorial hall took place on 31 October 1976 on the 90th anniversary of Chiang’s birth. The hall officially opened on 5 April 1980 , the fifth anniversary of the leader’s death.
