Hello to all friends! I want to share with you a place that I visited yesterday for the first time in the neighborhood of Recoleta. It is the Carlos Thays cultural park, located a few meters from one of the best known subway stations in the city but nevertheless I did not know of its existence. That's Buenos Aires, places is great proportion to know and visit that are somehow "hidden".

As is the case of this park that despite being in front of an avenue, hides the cultural monuments because they are well within the same place. This city is known for its large number of parks with cultural and educational themes and for this case it could not be different, for sample is the main picture that is a sculptural monument of a naked male torso.

Work of the Colombian artist Fernando Botero and its meaning or why the figure is this way is only known by the artist, it is only known that it draws a lot of attention at a glance by the exaggerated muscles and marked in the details, this monument was placed in this park in the late 1990s.

In this park there are other monuments as is customary in places of this type that house the works of artists from different places. The aesthetics of the place is quite attractive because of the vegetation and the green of the grass, so on the one hand it is taken care of, but on the other hand not so much with respect to the same structures that have been there for more than 20 years.

Here I show you some of the pictures I took while walking around the place and at the same time I knew and admired every part of it and the sculptures.

The name of the park was established as a tribute to the landscape architect Carlos Thays, who in fact I previously published a post during my tour of a botanical garden that also bears his name. A very quiet place to spend time with the family, have a picnic, sit and read a book, study, play an instrument, among many other activities as long as you respect the order.

It is located in the vicinity of the great law school, in front of the liberator avenue and it is a very suitable place to take pictures especially at sunset because from that part of the city the tones and colors that it offers at that time are very good. This is how I was able to get to know a new place within the same city that is also very attractive.

If you liked some of the photos or you found interesting these monuments, structures and landscapes, it would be very nice to know in the comments. I send greetings to all of you and I hope you liked the post.

Excellent review ! Both the photographs and the written review, makes you feel that you are walking through this park, which is a sample of artistic expression in vital spaces of the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, which is characterized by having plenty of parks of this type.

Thank you very much my friend. I really appreciate your words

Excellent photos my friend @dimascastillo90, all of them are very good, I was impressed by the eighth and the last one. This park is luxurious, for the art mixed between the natural spaces. About the Colombian artist Fernando Botero, his works are like that, in that style with a lot of volume, highlighting the shape of the human body. Greetings and blessings.

Hello friend, how are you? Yes, in fact I was looking for other works of his because I was struck by his style of work and I found many similar and without great. Thanks for commenting my friend, it's nice to read you
