Hello travel lovers.
Today I would like to share some photographies from my recent visit to one of the cornish communities.
Pentewan is a village on East coast of Cornwall, located close to Saint Austell. There is a lovely beach in the area - Pentewan beach. I live in Cornwall, but I've never been there before.
Although there is a caravan park nearby, the place seems quite peaceful. I presume that summer will be in other way.
There is a wooden swing in the middle of the sand. This is a romantic option to meet the sunrise.
But privacy is not guaranteed as there are others attached to the place (as you can see at the images). Is it enjoying the morning sunlight or may be it is a guard?
By the way, I managed to capture another winged in charge, who was resposible for parking area I guess.
The other crows were busy with various activities. I am not sure exactly what they do, but by all accounts the place seems to be under bird control at this time of year.
The beach is locked between cliffs and this makes it suitable for different activities like padleboarding, sailing etc.
I personally am not a fan of water sports, but I enjoyed the smooth sea, light sand and different marine objects during my coastal walk.
Pentewan looks like great place for fishing as well. It turns out that everyone can satisfy in here, especially little ones. Every child does love the sea, swings and slides? What about when it's all in one place?
There used to be a harbour in the past, but at the moment it more looks like a lake. There is no sign of ships, and even the ducks float undisturbed.
There is a small cafe next to the lake and a couple of restaurant around the caravan park. I did have a lunch on a reasonable price just few metres away from the sea. If I have to be honnest, I prefer the low season when it is not overcrowded. I believe that It is getting busier over the summer because of the great location and the energy of this place.
Hope you are enjoying my virtual walk through one of the lovliest cornish beaches and may be some of you will be inspired for new journeys in South West England.
Thank you for stopping by and supporting :)
