Taman Tepi Laut Beach : A beautiful place just in my memories, not now.

Hello #hive and #travel lovers..

How would you feel if you loved a place so much in the past and then you found out it was destroyed by a Tsunami?

Yes, this time I visited Taman Tepi Laut Beach, a tourist attraction that used to offer beautiful beaches and relaxing places on weekends, and the best places to eat with grilled fish as a specialty. I last visited this place when I was still in high school or as I remember around 2000. Back then there weren`t many popular tourist locations in my area. The atmosphere at that time was very unsafe because there was an armed conflict so like it or not, the world of tourism was also not popular.

Even though it is close to Lhoknga Beach, which is the main beach destination at the moment, I will try to visit this place again. And it's really not as grand as before. This place is now deserted and doesn't look attractive anymore. From the outside it can be seen that this place is rarely visited now, what you see is only a few small houses for visitors and it is also quiet. So sad :(

I tried asking the manager of this place. Is this place called Taman Tepi Laut Beach? they answered correctly. I tried looking for the name of this place, but I couldn't find it. Yes, that's the condition of this beach, it used to be crowded with visitors but now it's like this. What do I want to tell you? you see it yourself.

It's just that, because I've been coming here, it's better if I try to share a little of the advantages. If it looks quiet, it is. But sometimes quiet is more comfortable, right? I think for people who want to relax in a less spacious environment, this place is suitable. Some of the gazebos available are still good for shelter and telling stories.

Several pine trees that grow shady here add to the coolness of this place. We should appreciate the efforts of the management of this place to keep the white sand of the beach clean. Because I think a clean beach will be an attraction for visitors to tourist attractions. Consider it their capital goals. If visitors come, they can sell food and drinks to maintain this place next.

Honestly, I ordered seafood here but I forgot to document it. I ordered flour fried squid where a portion was priced at seventy thousand rupiah and fresh vegetables at thirty thousand rupiahs. As I said at the beginning of this story. One of the specialties of this place used to be the grilled fish and they still sell it. I ordered grilled grouper for ninety-eight thousand with a fish size of seven ounces. A little expensive but worth the taste.

In the past, lots of people sold here and offered their wares, some even sold local accessories. Now there is only one food seller here. Talking about the situation of this place in the past is really the opposite of the current situation. The hustle and bustle of beach visitors is no more. When I came here, only four families came.

The few photos of this place make it clear that there are no interesting spots to immortalize. There is only a small strip of beach and you are no longer allowed to swim there because of the many rocks that were carried away by the Tsunami. Just an old gazebo and a rope swing for the kids and it's not modern either. Made as is, by the manager. But, if you take a nap then this place is perfect. You might forget yourself because of the coolness of this place.

Evidently, I played more on my cell phone and slept for about three hours before finally deciding to go home. Thank you Taman Tepi Laut Beach...you have been with me during my youth and thank you because you have created beautiful memories in my memory.

So sorry I understand your disappointment, I will feel sad to find a place that I remember memorable destroyed by the tsunami, what a bad thing, tsunami really destroyed too many places

I think I will be sad when it will also happen to the places I love. You can revisit in your memory the good times, but the place will not be the same. I think this is when photos were really precious as it capture the moments and places and you can always look at it and look back on how good it was.
