Imagine finding the famous landmarks all around the world in one place, how would you feel?
As for me, it was astonishing!
During our Bohol trip last November 2021, I was so excited when it was time for us to visit Sikatuna's Mirror of the world. The place is full of famous landmarks, they may just be a mirror of the real one, but it's worth it. It's like you've been there, for real, where the original was built. The place is also surrounded by botanical gardens.
Sikatuna has allowed us to see our dream landmarks without spending thousands of money or even a passport.
Here are the famous landmarks of the world that I found there:
1. Eiffel Tower (Paris, France)
Eiffel Tower is one of my dream destinations in the world. After seeing that it's present in Sikatuna, I was so happy and it feels like I was there for real in Paris, although the one I saw was just a copy of it.
2. Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italy)
We have a small souvenir statue in the house of the Tower of Pisa, that's why I was so amazed after finding out that it's present in Sikatuna as well. There are also Gods and Goddesses around the Tower but I forgot to have a picture of them.
3-4. Statue of Liberty (New York) and Little Mermaid (Copenhagen)
The Statue of Liberty was at the back of me and the Little Mermaid was on the side. I never get a chance to capture up close to the Little Mermaid at that time because we went to the other part of the place.
5-6. Hollywood Sign (Los Angeles, California) and Christ the Redeemer Statue (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
The sign was inspired by the Hollywood Sign in California, they're so creative to have it "Bohollywood". We also have a mini Christ the Redeemer Statue in our house, so finding a big one here is truly amazing.
7. The Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco)
I never get to visit the Golden Gate Bridge before we were so tired that time and just capture the view.
8. Merlion Statue (Singapore)
I always wanted to witness the Merlion for real, that's why seeing it in Bohol made me so happy already.
9. Acropolis (Greece)
I never get to visit the Acropolis like up close because that's the time when we decided to go home after a tiring yet worthy time visiting destinations in Bohol.
10. Equestrian Statue (Mongolia)
I'm not familiar with this statue, but good thing I was able to find it there because I learned something that this is a famous one in Mongolia.
Other sceneries are seen in the place:
Sikatuna's Mirror of the World is like a paradise for me. I have seen the landmarks that I wanted to witness in the world. Even if they are just a mirror of those landmarks, they still made me so happy. I'd love to visit it again soon.
Furthermore, the place is still a work in progress. There are other landmarks that they're going to add, like most of the landmarks in the world. Maybe I will pave my visit again once it's almost finished.
