That afternoon, it was very hot. The air was blowing hard and the sun was scorching. Our group car, which came from Lampung, headed to the Siger Museum near Bakauheni Port. The view outside was very fresh due to the strong wind near the sea. The view is very wide, so it makes the mind calm and can relieve fatigue after activities.

Because the Siger Museum is undergoing renovations, visitors are not allowed to reach the location. There is a boundary line as a sign that visitors are not allowed to pass through the location. The area is also often used as a bazaar location for medium-sized businesses in the community. It is a strategic place to exhibit to the public about the products being sold.

An open place with a wide view, making visitors freely able to look far out to sea, how the hustle and bustle of the crowd doing transportation from Java Island - Sumatra Island or vice versa. So, Bakauheni Port is never quiet. It is always crowded with visitors who are traveling. Be it a business trip or a vacation. The current dock facilities are quite adequate, from public facilities to shipboarding facilities.

From year to year public facilities in the Lampung area are increasing, especially around the dock, with the existence of the siger museum, adding to the Lampung people getting to know more about Lampung province with all its characteristics and customs and traditions. As a newcomer to Lampung, I also became more knowledgeable about tourist destinations in Lampung.

The hotel where I stayed was also in a strategic location, with a direct view of the harbor. Good food and beautiful scenery that spoil the eyes of visitors in enjoying the atmosphere. This morning I had soup and some vegetables made into a salad. The wide-open nature, as well as the fresh air, made me feel at home. Unfortunately, the hot weather burned my skin a little when I was outside.

The green expanse and fresh atmosphere were soothing. Although I wasn't able to visit the museum directly, seeing the weather made me feel tired and exhausted. The trip was hot, but still fun. Because it was a business trip, we were able to enjoy a vacation and get to know the atmosphere on the shores of Bakauheni. The iconic place of Lampung province as well as the icon of the province which is famous for tapis cloth.
