Challenging My Fear Of The Sea With Come And Play In Seaworld

in #hive-1637722 years ago

Hello my dear friends…
In this lovely evening, i want to share about a really fun experience and most likely my first time went to the oceanarium. This time, i will share my Seaworld experience with you guys. I am not someone whom very interested in animals in general, but i am someone who always love it when i have the chance to learn about something new. I love when my experience can help me gain knowledge no matter how trivial it is because knowing something trivial is so much better than not knowing anything. Me and my husband already planned to go to Seaworld few times before but we never had the chance to actually make it. So, when my sister who came from another city asked me where we can hang out, i offered Seaworld immediately.

Seaworld is part of Ancol amusement park. The entrance ticket of Seaworld is 130.000 idr and its already including the Ancol entrance. Usually, the entrance ticket of Ancol alone is 25.000 idr so i giess the entrance ticket is 105.000 alone. But, to get there we have to buy the Ancol entrance ticket because its a mandatory. In Ancol alone, they have many entrance so i am not recomending if we came here by walk because its a big amusent park and to reach Seaworld from the Ancol’s gate, we have to walk for some kilometers. Its that far. Even after we park our car in Seaworld designated parking area, we still have to walk quite far till we can reach the entrance of Seaworld. I must warn that this is not an activity for people that have problem with walking.

This is the entrance of the Seaworld. Here, they will scan our ticket’s barcode and they will give us stamp in our hands as a sign that we have ticket and able to access seaworld. The stamps is easily wiped off and it might be a trouble when we decided that we want to go outside a bit to take a breather before coming back inside the Seaworld. That is why, we should not delete or throw out our tickets that we purchase. In case the stamp is alreading fading, we can show the ticket again to them. Another thing to notice is we cant bring food and drink from outside inside of Seaworld. I think that one of the reason that they have that policy is because they dont want people / customers recklessly giving food for the sea creature they have in there.

There’re few events that they have in Seaworld and its have its own schedule, some of them are:

  • Piranha Feeding
I went inside Seaworld two times in that day and in both times i’ve missed the chance to saw the Piranha feeding. I have always heard so many vicious stories about Piranha since i was young, so i was a bit curious about how they eat. I want to see it in real life. Even looking at them in close proximity like this already put me in a lot of awe.

  • Aquarium Tunnel

This is a tunnel where it can makes us feel like we’re walking along with the fish. They have many type of fish in there, even some sharks. I found this tunnel quite heart - thumping. I feel excited because i feel kinda scared about it. In my logic, i understand that everything is gonna be fine and i am perfectly safe, but when i walk in such a small tunnel like this facing all tge water in my left, right, and on top of me, i cant help bit feeling nauseous. I cant help it because i am someone whom scared of water, to the point of scared and hated water. So, any activity related to “a lot” of water like this is a challenge for me. Since i took my baby niece with me, i have no choice but to be brave to face it. She loves it so much and cant stop opened her mouth staring at all the sea creatures swimming right beside us.

  • Jellyfish Room
The whole Seaworld is dark but they have a dedicated space for jellyfish and its way darker than another area in this Seaworld. I must say this space is my favorite one compared to other area in this Seaworld. I have never know that looking at jellyfish can be so fascinating and calming. Since jellyfish is basically a transparent creature, they put some lights in the backlight and it elevate the looks by a lot. It makes the every moves of jellyfish looks enchanting, well at least to me. I was already dead tired, but feel calmed immediately after coming to this room.

These are some other pictures i took that i think interesting. Since its a mesh of everything, i dont know how to explain it and i just hope the people read this post will feel the fun and excitemenf i feel when j took all of this pictures.

  • My cutie niece being fascinated by fish tunnel

  • The somehow looking sad stingray

  • Big Sea Turtles

  • Red Car Aquarium

  • Sleeping Sharks

  • Souvenirs
In our way out, we can buy souvenirs from the Seaworld. I find the quality of their souvenirs is good and the price is quite okay compared to other amusement park’s souvenir.
