The plan was not planned. It just came to S's mind that she wanted to utilize our togetherness and extend our time together by traveling to Dumaguete City.
To realize the plan, we checked the internet of the scheduled trip. The chosen time was 4:30 pm in Liloan Port, Santander, Cebu. The time was a good estimate so we could have more time to travel to the tourist spots in Dumaguete City and the neighboring municipality.
Unfortunately, as we arrived at Liloan Port, only passengers were available and the area for vehicles was full. We wanted to include the minivan on traveling to Dumaguete City because it is convenient to use in travel and to make our travel comfortable too. Since we wanted to travel to another island, we did not feel discouraged and found other ways to reach the desired destination. Luckily, there is another way and this is the Bato Port in Samboan, Cebu. I asked the ticketing office if the Bato port whose travel time was 5:00 pm was still open and the officer answered yes. As we checked the Bato Port using google Maps, the travel time was less than 30 minutes, since we arrived at Liloan Port at 4:28 pm, we had a possibility that we could reach the Bato Port at the desired time.
We did not waste time and went directly to Samboan and yes, we reached the Bato Port earlier than 5 pm and we were lucky enough that there was still a slot for the passengers and minivan.
To summarize, we were able to reach Dumaguete City and the image above was captured when we were on the barge.
