Greetings to all of us Dear Hiver travelers, our place contains lots of wonderful sceneries and we are very lucky to have it. Today, I will share my quick tour at Manticao River particularly near at Sitio Santa Cruz. Our place was already experienced intense heat brought by the Sun, and for me this river is suitable for a traveling place to experience the coolness and freshness of the area brought by the trees and cool water. Manticao river is the only river found in Manticao and it came from the mountainous areas down to the sea.

Using a pinmapple map, we can see the exact place of the river here in the Town. It is far from crowded place and from the town Market, we need to travel for atleast an hour using a motorcycle or tricycle. The river contains a curvy lines and it gives a fascinating views on it.

The first areas I went when I reached the place was this rocky and relaxing areas near at the Sitio. This place contains a road trail leading to the Barangay road and serve as a shortcut to all residents in the place. Because of the intense heat happens here in our place, the water level at the river keeps lowing and the stones are started to showed. Motorcycles can be abled to pass here everytime when the water is low. Sometimes, trucks also passes here just to get the crops and other valuable things.

I found the place very relaxing and beautiful, the only thing I heard was the wind blowing the trees, splashing of water, tweeting of birds. It is so good to lived in this kind of place, very peaceful and calm. Exactly 8 AM when I continued to do my Quick travel and I was very enjoyed that time.

At the middle of my traveling adventure, I noticed this newly built concrete wall near at the river and I was very curios about it how it works. As I found out, this newly built concrete walls is the cover of the culvert that puts inside to make it a deep wheel. Near at this place is also a newly built private resort and they get the water here for their swimming pools.

The river contains a crystal clear water and children will be really having a lot of fun and enjoyable time swimming in this shallow and cool water. This place is very perfect for a swim and the children at the Sitios always went here every morning to take a bath.

The shady areas in this river is very important to all residents so that they can wash their clothes without being hit directly from the sun. This pile of stones is where they put their clothes and this small rock pool or Atabay in local term is used for fetching water for washing the kitchen utensils and other kitchen and dining materials. There are lots of beautiful sceneries in this place and truly this can be the perfect areas to travel during summer season.
