Fondazione Bisazza 📍

Hi Travel friends, today in this post I want to talk to you about a new place I was lucky enough to visit this past weekend, Sunday, despite the bad weather. It's about 15 km from my house and can be visited for free.

I'm talking about the Bisazza Foundation, a show or rather a place where there is an exhibit created by the famous Italian company Bisazza Spa. Bisazza is a well-known brand for design and a producer of luxury interior and exterior mosaics. The company was founded in 1956 by Pietro Bisazza.

As I told you, this exhibition is open to the public and can be visited free of charge, just book in advance. Inside the exhibition there are many installations created by world-famous designers. The most important is the Proust Armchair, designed by Mendini for an exhibition on Italian design in Athens in 2004. This armchair is truly unique, made entirely of small 2 cm mosaic tiles. This is the highlight of the exhibition, and what makes it truly special. The exhibition is an unmissable occasion for design and art enthusiasts, and a place where extraordinary creations can be admired and inspired.

I was really impressed by this installation because creating this armchair must have been a significant feat.

The installation by a Spanish designer named Hayon is very unusual and is called 'Pinocchio Strano'. This installation was presented in 2007 at the Milan Furniture Fair and described as a crazy work. The puppet is made of polyurethane and fibreglass and covered entirely with mosaic tiles. It stands in the middle of a surreal room full of strange and peculiar objects that caught my attention, so much so that I took a picture of it.

This installation by Hayon, the famous Spanish designer, was donated to the Bisazza foundation and is one of the highlights of the exhibition. When I was lucky enough to see this exhibition, there were few people around and I was able to linger a long time admiring this installation without being disturbed.

Hayon's creativity and craftsmanship are evident in this installation, known as 'Pinocchio Strano'.

During my visit to the exhibition, I also had the opportunity to admire an installation by another world famous designer, Marcel Wanders. This artist has recreated a kind of motel, which he considers his favourite holiday destination.

The car and the motel are entirely covered with tiles produced by the company Bisazza, which is very famous for the quality and beauty of its products. Marcel Wanders described this car as his 'dream car' and I can confirm that it really is. I could see that it had everything, including the engine.

This installation is truly amazing and demonstrates the creativity and craftsmanship of Marcel Wanders. The combination of art and design in this installation is truly amazing and makes it a landmark for anyone who wants to admire unique and original works.

There were many installations at the exhibition I visited, and I must admit that I was amazed by the beauty of this exhibition, especially considering that it was free. Usually, these exhibitions are very expensive, but this one was open to everyone, which made me realise that the main objective was probably to advertise this important company.

I found out that this company collaborates with big luxury international fashion brands, which surprised me a lot considering that until a few months ago I had never heard of this company, which is located just a few kilometres from my home.

This exhibition was a unique opportunity to get to know this company better and to admire some of its creations. It was also an opportunity to meet the designers who have worked with the company and to admire their work. This exhibition was a very informative and entertaining experience, and I would recommend anyone to visit it if they have the chance.

During my visit to the exhibition, I came across another installation that seems to have participated in the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2007. This installation represents man's accessories and they are completely covered with small gold mosaic tiles. At first I thought it was all fake, but then I realised it was real gold. I had never seen such a thing live and I must admit that I was very impressed. This installation shows the skill and creativity of the designer who made it. Moreover, the use of real gold makes it even more unique and precious. This installation is an example of how art and technology can come together to create something truly special.

Continuing my visit in the exhibition, I discovered a tapestry that really impressed me. It had been created partly with Swarovski tiles, the famous crystals known all over the world, and it glittered intensely. It was truly a spectacular sight that made me appreciate even more the art and creativity of the designers who participated in the exhibition. The combination of these crystal tiles with the tapestry design and technique created a very elegant and extraordinary visual effect. I was really fascinated by this installation and realised how full of surprises the exhibition was.

In the exhibition I visited, I discovered another installation that, at first glance, might have seemed to consist of just simple stones. However, I noticed that they were decorated with mosaic tiles, some of them white and some normal. This detail really struck me and I decided to document this discovery in the video I am preparing for my YouTube channel. I am very excited to share this experience with the world and hope that others can also appreciate the beauty of these installations.

During my visit to the exhibition, I discovered another installation that looked like just a simple plane on the surface, but was actually much more. Although it was not a real plane, it still looked very real, and was completely covered with small white gold mosaic tiles. What was special about this installation was its beauty and the minute details that made it unique. I will be able to better appreciate this installation in the video I am preparing for my YouTube channel, where I will show the details and features that made this plane so special.

During my visit to the exhibition, I decided to share with you some of the most amazing art installations I was lucky enough to see. I hope you enjoyed my description and that it gave you an idea of how fascinating this exhibition is. However, I have decided to keep some of the photos I took for myself in order to create some suspense for my next video that I will post on YouTube. I promise to show you all the most interesting details of the art installations I have mentioned. The exhibition is free and you can book your visit via the Bisazza Foundation website.
Thank you for reading this post up to this point, thank you very much and see you in my next article.
