Hi, Hive friends! This is my entry for the #winterchallenge and at the same time for the #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. This was our second time to spend Christmas in Paris. This time around, we already have our daughter with us. Finally, getting around Paris as a family.
My husband asked me where I would like to go. I said let's go to the Louvre Museum. It's not important to get inside the museum. I just wanted to walk around. Since we have two kids in tow, I don't want to get stressed. I don't want to be in a hurry.
I would enjoy taking photos around the Louvre Museum, so I wasn't in a hurry. I prefer to chill, take as many pictures as possible, do people-watching, and let my son walk around.
Of course, my eyes sparkled when I saw the Pyramid of the Louvre Museum. Finally! I brought my Nikon D5100 with me.
We went for this walk in the afternoon. We woke up late because we were tired from the previous day's activity.
Everything you see around the Louvre Museum is just iconic. The European architecture is just magnificent. How I wish I had a zoom lens so that I could take photos of different corners of this building.
I would be fine staying here for 30 minutes to 1 hour. I've heard there is a cafe you can enjoy here. I would love to enjoy it someday, just drink hot chocolate, and do people-watching again.
I would love to get into the Louvre Museum someday and see the famous Mona Lisa painting.
My husband was pushing the trolley of our daughter while our son was following him. I had to look after him while taking photos.
I love this angle.
I wanted to stay here but my son wanted to walk away quickly.
Here is my son, he enjoyed his Parisian Walk around the Louvre Museum. He is half-Cebuano and half-Parisian boy. Hahaha! Mama was born in Cebu, Philippines and Papa was born in Paris, France.
We were walking further away from the Louvre Museum.
We walked towards the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.
I walked behind my family because I am always the slow walker. I prefer to walk behind or else, I won't see my son. For security, I can see my son walk with his father.
The golden light was fast approaching. The sun was going to set.
I turned around to take my one last shot of the Louvre Museum before we walked further.
I'll just end up this blog with sunset photos.
The sun was setting down and we could see the Eiffel Tower from afar.
The big Ferris wheel
I enjoyed taking sunset photos here and there.
I won't mind getting back here. I would love to do my solo walk in the Louvre Museum, someday. Happy to get a taste of the Parisian walk during Christmas. Hehe!
I would love to take photos of lovely couples here. That would be wonderful.
Does anyone else here want to see the Louvre Museum? Let's go together. Haha!
