EXPLORING THE MORTUARY ART OF BANGLADESH

in #hive-1637722 months ago

Hello to all my five friends, hope you are all well. It's me @itztaba99 .Today I am going to share about the historic mortuary art industry of a village near my home in the country.

LET'S START:

Bangladesh is famous for many things. For example - rivers, nature, mountains, sea, forests and many more. The industrial revolution of Bengal is more famous than that. Every year many kinds of fairs are held in many places to showcase this art. Many universities in Bangladesh are famous for fine art, painting, dead and many other arts. The most common of these is the art of dying. Many people come from many countries for the sculptures made of clay.

I have been hearing about a village for a long time. Where many types of earthenware are made. I also want to see another place of Bangladesh. I left in the afternoon to go there. I have two friends with me.

I went there and saw that a lot of soil had been collected in one place. They say they will make different things. We first saw the pot being made for Bogra's famous curd. Small pots, big pots, clay spoons, galls, plates etc. were made and left to dry in the sun.

Let them harden well. Because if they are not taught well then they cannot be sized well. If they are not dried in the sun, they cannot be taken to the next step.

The pots are dried and aged in the fire. Those pots are aged for two days. We saw the pots arranged one on top of the other and made like a pyramid. They put rice plants on top of them, and another layer of soil. And there is a system to light the fire from below. He decorates those pots in a big way.

After two days when the pots are well burnt they keep them aside for painting. They paint the pots with whatever color they like. They make them so beautifully that it doesn't look like they are made of clayThey not only make curd glass plates but also clay tea cups..Before making so many things, they use a machine to smooth the soil. Through that machine, the hard soil becomes smooth very easily. And with that smooth soil, these clay items can be made very easily. They make many kinds of things with this soil. .For example - earthen pitchers, bowl etc.

I went there and bought seven items that I liked and bought many more. They are very beautiful and very sincere and thorough. Sold at a low priceIt is very surprising that they put so much effort into making things and sell them at such a low price. Because the more trouble they put into making them, the price of their trouble should be higher. I am very impressed that they are selling at such a low price.

Not only that there were pots made of clay, but also there were many types of things made of clay. The village was Hindu, so many types of clay idols were made there. They make their idols very precisely. And send them very carefully to different parts of Bangladesh. Not just this one village, there are many villages in Bangladesh, where many things made of clay are made.

I had a great day. I got to know a lot of information. I was very happy to know so much. I hope you like my blog and have been able to show you an art and tradition of Bangladesh.
That's all. Thanks for reading!
